Configuration Analysis On The Driving Factors Of Rural Enterprises’ Digital Transformation

Rural enterprises have increased the income level of farmers,increased exports and taxes,and played an important role in developing the rural economy and even the national economy.At the same time,China is in a new era of strategic development for rural revitalization.Rural revitalization is closely related to rural enterprises,and the development of rural areas cannot do without the contribution of rural enterprises.In recent years,the rapid development of digital technology and the accelerating process of digitalization in China have provided good development opportunities for rural enterprises,and Digital transformation of rural enterprises is the trend of the times.Therefore,the study of the driving factors and configuration relationship of rural enterprises’ Digital transformation has important theoretical value and practical significance for promoting rural enterprises’ Digital transformation.This paper analyzes the development of rural enterprises in Cixi City,and based on the TOE framework,takes 107 rural enterprises in Cixi area as samples,based on the configuration theory and using the fs QCA method,studies the configuration of the driving factors of rural enterprises’ Digital transformation,and analyzes its complex causal mechanism.According to the research results and the actual situation,the paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote the Digital transformation of rural enterprises.The study found that although Cixi rural enterprises have made some achievements in the process of development and Digital transformation,there are still some shortcomings,such as low emphasis,deviation in understanding the meaning of Digital transformation,insufficient planning ability,low level of development,shortage of high-quality talents,shortage of investment funds,etc.The research results show that the success of high-level Digital transformation of rural enterprises in Cixi City is not driven by a single factor,but the result of the joint interaction of internal and external multiple factors,with the characteristics of "multiple concurrency" and "different paths leading to the same goal".There are four groups of configuration paths for the success of Digital transformation of rural enterprises,which can be summarized as "organization technology" driven,"product environment" driven There are four types of driving models: "organization environment" dominant driving model and "technology organization environment" comprehensive driving model.Based on the research results,the article proposes universal countermeasures and suggestions based on these four configuration types.(1)"Organization technology" oriented driving type: rural enterprises should strengthen the awareness of senior management,improve the leadership of Digital transformation,be realistic and assess the situation,and improve digital hardware and software facilities;(2)Product environment driven: Rural enterprises should use advanced digital technology to assist in product development and manufacturing processes.Government departments should regulate industry rules and order,and reasonably leverage the role of private capital;(3)Organizational environment driven: Rural enterprises should strengthen organizational strategic planning,optimize and innovate organizational management models,and government departments should improve the supply of relevant elements to enhance their digital governance service capabilities;(4)"Technology organization environment" comprehensive driving type: rural enterprises and government departments should pay attention to the common development of technology,organization and environment,avoid "partial science",pay attention to the configuration matching among various factors,fully release the chemical reaction between various driving factors,form linkage effect,and jointly drive the Digital transformation of rural enterprises.
