In the Party’s 20 National Congress Report,the basic realization of one of the goals of agricultural and rural modernization by 2035 has been clearly elaborated.In the process of realizing national modernization,the modernization of agriculture and rural areas is an important foundation and an important support.Our country has been a big agricultural country based on agriculture.Agriculture is the fundamental guarantee of our national economy development.If we want to realize the goal of agricultural and rural modernization,we must promote the development of agriculture by scientific and technological innovation.However,in the process of agricultural modernization,the application of science and technology and the influence of scientific and technological innovation on the level of agricultural economic development will affect the degree of scientific and technological progress in agriculture.A typical index to measure the overall level of agricultural science and technology in a region is the contribution rate of agricultural science and technology progress.Therefore,how to calculate the contribution rate of our agricultural science and technology progress is particularly important.Take Huzhou City in Zhejiang Province as an example.For a long time,the contribution to the progress of agricultural science and technology has been an important indicator to measure the work of city and county governments.Therefore,it is of great significance for promoting the development of local agricultural economy to formulate local agricultural development strategies and implement local agricultural policies according to local specific conditions.This thesis takes Huzhou City as the research object,calculates the contribution rate of agricultural science and technology progress by using measurement method,and analyzes the progress level of agricultural science and technology in Huzhou City,and on this basis,studies and analyzes the factors affecting the contribution rate of agricultural science and technology progress in Huzhou City.By summarizing and analyzing the research results of scholars at home and abroad,using the relevant theories of agricultural science and technology progress,agricultural science and technology innovation and so on,this thesis discusses the development status of agriculture and agricultural science and technology in Huzhou City,and discusses some problems existing in the process of agricultural science and technology progress in Huzhou City.The core of this thesis is to calculate the contribution of agricultural technology progress to economic growth in Huzhou city on the basis of C-D production function by Solow residual method.On this basis,the multiple linear regression method is used to empirically analyze the effect of various influencing factors on the contribution rate of agricultural science and technology progress in Huzhou City,in order to further improve the contribution rate of agricultural science and technology progress through a certain theoretical basis.At the end of this thesis,combining the previous theoretical and empirical analysis,combined with the actual situation of Huzhou City,from a macro perspective on how to better improve the contribution rate of agricultural science and technology progress in Huzhou City,put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
