With the development of China’s market economy system,the insurance industry in China is facing good development opportunities,and the scale of the life insurance industry is constantly expanding.The growing competition in the life insurance industry is also intensifying.In human resource management activities,performance management plays a crucial role in helping enterprises improve their competitiveness.Performance management can not only stimulate employees’ potential and improve team efficiency,but also provide effective guarantees for the achievement of organizational goals.It is a strategic management tool and an effective means to improve the management level of managers.Against the backdrop of global economic integration and increasing competition in China’s insurance industry,continuously optimizing the performance management of enterprises is of great significance for improving enterprise performance,optimizing enterprise management,establishing a sound performance management system,enhancing enterprise competitiveness,and enhancing the performance of insurance enterprises.This article first clarifies the background and significance of this study,the research content and methods,and the purpose of the study.Next,this article summarizes and summarizes the relevant theories of performance management through literature research,clarifies the connotation of employee performance management and the methods and processes of employee performance management,and explains and summarizes the current research status at home and abroad.Secondly,this article takes T Life Insurance N Branch as the research object,focusing on the marketing personnel of T Life Insurance N Branch,introducing the basic situation of the company and organizing the performance management structure and overview of N Branch one by one.Using questionnaire survey method,design,distribute,and analyze survey questionnaires to obtain the current situation of T Life Insurance N Branch’s performance management for marketing personnel,identify existing problems,and analyze the causes of the problems.Based on this,Develop an optimization plan for the performance management of marketing personnel in T Life Insurance N Branch.Finally,starting from the four dimensions of performance planning,implementation,assessment and evaluation,and feedback application,optimize and improve the performance management system of T Life Insurance N Branch,and optimize the performance management objectives of marketing personnel;Improve performance evaluation indicators;Scientifically formulate performance plans and assessment cycles;Strengthen performance communication and feedback;Strengthen the application of performance results;And propose four aspects of guarantee measures,including institutional guarantee,organizational guarantee,personnel guarantee,and cultural guarantee,to provide efficient and feasible institutional guarantee,build a stable and effective organizational guarantee,improve the guarantee of all participating personnel,and create a good and positive cultural guarantee.This article takes T Life Insurance N Branch as an example for research and optimizes its performance management process.It is hoped that through the optimization of the performance management process,the enthusiasm of marketers can be enhanced,the performance of marketing teams can be improved,and the overall competitiveness of the company can be enhanced to achieve the strategic goals of the enterprise.A comprehensive analysis has been conducted on the performance optimization of marketing personnel in T Life Insurance N Branch,which has certain practical guiding significance.Given that marketers in the life insurance industry still need to improve their performance in the short term,this article has certain reference value for other companies in the life insurance industry.
