| In 2022,China’s GDP exceeded 121 trillion yuan.The positive economic trend has increased the wealth of residents.Some residents have accumulated rich assets and become high net worth individuals.In an environment of stock economy and low global interest rates,the wealth scale of high net worth individuals is growing significantly.According to the Forbes World Rich List in 2022,the total number of billionaires on the list in China is 492,accounting for 18.5 percent.Commercial banks are the most important subjects in China’s wealth management market,and the rapid growth of high net worth population has naturally become the main business growth point of commercial banks.High net worth customers will become one of the main service objects of commercial banks in the future for a long time.Commercial banks have also set up private banking financial services for high net worth customers.With the increasingly comprehensive and diversified demand for wealth management,the content and quality of private banking services of commercial banks have been put forward with higher requirements.Private bank clients urgently need more professional diversified asset management services to give consideration to the "liquidity" and "return rate" of assets.According to their own business types,Chinese commercial banks try to adjust to meet the needs of private bank customers.In order to seize resources,banks are constantly adjusting and innovating to meet customers’ needs.Therefore,many commercial banks in our country draw lessons from the excellent experience of foreign commercial banks in the development process of private banking and formulate scientific financial plans.However,since our private banking business is still in its infancy,there is still a big gap compared with those developed countries that can provide clients with comprehensive financial services.How to improve the service of asset allocation is an important link of our commercial bank’s private banking business.At the end of 2022,the financial assets of private banking customers of IB Yinchuan Branch reached 1.925 billion yuan.Continuously improving the level of asset allocation and maintaining win-win cooperation with customers have become the focus of private banking business development of Yinchuan Branch.This paper takes the customers of IB Yinchuan Branch as the analysis object,and summarizes the investment preferences of customers of different ages,cultures,occupations and asset sizes for products with different risk levels and different terms through literature analysis,questionnaire survey and data analysis.It is concluded that regardless of the size of customer funds or whether the occupation is different,the general preference for medium and long-term products with fixed income,the willingness to allocate aggressive products is not strong,and the customers with larger capital volume have higher requirements for the liquidity of funds,and it is found that IB Yinchuan Branch has a mismatch between customer risk level and product in private banking business,the source channel of financial products is single,which cannot meet the diversified needs of customers,and the professionalism of private banking personnel is insufficient.As well as asset allocation for customers,it is mostly performance-oriented and ignores the risk needs of customers.Based on the above problems,provide scientific asset allocation suggestions and strategies for private banking customers of IB Yinchuan Branch,combine the basic information research of KYC customers,sort out and summarize the personality characteristics,risk appetite and financial preferences of private bank customers,and recommend standardizing the asset allocation of private bank customers according to the problems and characteristics of Yinchuan Branch,allocate appropriate products according to customer risk tolerance,and avoid overallocation of high-risk products and business personnel over-allocating risk products for customers due to performance assessment;Add insurance,trust,gold and other products to avoid problems such as single product allocation;It is recommended to build an asset allocation service system by digital means,provide customers with personalized investment consultation through big data,pay attention to market changes in real time,and optimize allocation plans;Improve the organizational structure and create a "1+1+N" customer service system;Strengthen talent training,improve the quality of employees,and enhance customer satisfaction.The research results in this paper can not only provide good suggestions for IB Yinchuan Branch when providing asset allocation solutions for high-quality customers,but also provide certain reference value for asset allocation of private banks of other major commercial banks. |
