Based on the major public health emergencies background,this paper is based on the leadership style theory that can reasonably optimize internal resources and the social network theory that is convenient for enterprises to obtain external resources,and takes the "Organizational Resilience" to deal with the disruptive challenges brought by the outside of the organization as the entry point to study how small and medium-sized enterprises can quickly respond to the environment,adapt to changes and maintain long-term competitive advantage.Firstly,it defines the connotation of the concept of small and medium.sized enterprises,the dimension of Organizational Resilience and the development of the network.Secondly,it explores the relationship between transactional leadership,social network,Organizational Resilience and the performance of small and medium.sized enterprises,and puts forward the theoretical analysis conceptual model of "transactional leadership/Social Network Organizational Resilience enterprise performance".A total of 269 valid questionnaires from small and medium.sized enterprises were collected by questionnaire survey,and mplus8.3 Conduct hypothesis test.The results show that transactional leadership style has a significant positive impact on the performance of small and medium sized enterprises;Social network has a significant positive impact on the performance of small and medium sized enterprises;Organizational Resilience plays a complete intermediary role between transactional leadership style and the performance of small and medium.sized enterprises;Organizational Resilience plays a complete intermediary role between social networks and the performance of small and medium.sized enterprises.The theoretical contributions of this study mainly focus on the following three points.First,it enriches the connotation of transactional leadership style.This study discusses the impact of transactional leadership style on the performance of small and medium.sized enterprises,which not only provides empirical support for the relevant leadership style theory,but also provides some management enlightenment for the research on transactional leadership style of small and medium.sized enterprises,which is generally ignored by scholars.Second,it reveals the impact mechanism of social network on the performance of small and medium.sized enterprises.The complex social networks formed between small and medium.sized enterprises and suppliers,governments and consumers help small and medium sized enterprises accurately grasp the market situation and effectively use the cost of silence.Third,it extends the dynamic capability theory.The empirical results show that transactional leadership style and social network have a positive impact on the Organizational Resilience of small and medium sized enterprises,which provides a guiding direction for small and medium sized enterprises to improve their organizational resilience under the influence of major public emergencies.Overall,this study illustrates the impact mechanism of SME managers to improve the Organizational Resilience and growth ability of SMEs by giving full play to transactional leadership and social network resources,so as to provide constructive suggestions on how SMEs can overcome difficulties and achieve sustainable development under major emergencies. |
