Poverty has always been a global problem,seriously hindering the progress and development of the whole human society.Since solving the problem of absolute poverty,China has entered the post-poverty alleviation stage of solving the problem of relative poverty.Relying on the mass entrepreneurship,innovation policy implementation,entrepreneurial activities show great potential for development in China,caused the people’s attention and attention,less developed areas comply with The Times,seize the opportunity,actively develop the entrepreneurial activities,realize the way of poverty alleviation from "blood transfusion" to "hematopoietic".In this context,new enterprises in less developed areas are growing rapidly and innovation and entrepreneurship activities are increasingly fierce,but underdeveloped areas are still facing many practical problems such as shortage of resources and social capital.Social capital has the attribute of network resources and is closely related to social members.Giving full play to the important role of social capital can produce significant poverty reduction effect and provide strong support for entrepreneurship.Especially in economic underdeveloped areas,entrepreneurs network presents significant blood,geographical attributes,in order to maximize the demand of resources,entrepreneurs should be reasonable use of interpersonal relationship,obtain social support,entrepreneurs social capital resources to provide new enterprises,and provide effective information and knowledge,entrepreneurs should actively grasp entrepreneurial opportunities,fully integrated use of entrepreneurial resources,to enhance comprehensive management ability,increase technological innovation,improve entrepreneurial success rate,so as to realize the sustainable and steady development of new enterprises.This paper takes the new enterprises in Western Hunan as the research object to explores the relationship between social capital,entrepreneurial bricolage and entrepreneurial performance of entrepreneurs in underdeveloped areas.Firstly,combining with relevant domestic and foreign literature,the concepts of entrepreneur social capital,entrepreneurial bricolage and entrepreneurial performance are clarified,and the corresponding dimensions are divided.Secondly,establish a theoretical model with entrepreneur social capital as the explanatory variable,entrepreneurship bricolage as the intermediary variable,and entrepreneurial performance as the explained variable,and put forward the research hypothesis.Thirdly,based on the first-hand data obtained from the questionnaire survey,the quantitative research methods such as factor analysis and structural equation model analysis are used to carry out the empirical test of the research hypothesis.Finally,based on the empirical test results,the corresponding research conclusions and enlightenment are given.The research conclusions of this paper include three main points:(1)there is a positive correlation between the social capital structure,relationship and cognition of entrepreneurs in underdeveloped areas and their entrepreneurial performance;(2)The social capital structure,relationship and cognitive dimension of entrepreneurs in less developed areas are positively correlated with entrepreneurial bricolage;(3)Entrepreneurial bricolage in underdeveloped areas has a positive effect on entrepreneurial performance,and plays an intermediary effect between entrepreneurs’ social capital and entrepreneurial performance.According to the above research conclusions,the suggestions to improve the performance of new enterprises in less developed areas are proposed from two aspects: First,the entrepreneurs in less developed areas should pay attention to the systematic cultivation of their social capital from the structural dimension,relationship dimension and cognitive dimension;second,the entrepreneurs in less developed areas should pay attention to strengthening their entrepreneurial bricolage ability while fully exploiting the role of social capital.
