Development Status Of Agricultural Leading Enterprises In Gaoyou City And Countermeasures For Improving Quality And Efficiency

Agricultural leading enterprises are the driving force behind the revitalization of rural industries,and have important significance and promoting effects on the development of agriculture and rural areas.This study is based on relevant theories,concepts,and literature,with the current development status and suggestions for improving quality and efficiency of agricultural leading enterprises in Gaoyou City as the research content.Based on the effective survey questionnaires of 103 agricultural leading enterprises,the results of discussions with the leaders of some agricultural leading enterprises,and case studies of three enterprises,the current situation,existing problems,and reasons for the development of agricultural leading enterprises in Gaoyou City are analyzed.On this basis,with the goal of achieving rural development,increasing farmers’ income,and increasing agricultural efficiency,countermeasures and suggestions for improving the quality and efficiency of agricultural leading enterprises in Gaoyou City are proposed.Research has shown that the number of leading agricultural enterprises in Gaoyou City is on the rise,with the scale mainly being small and medium-sized.They are mainly distributed in industries such as aquaculture processing,poultry and products,vegetable planting and products,grain planting and processing,feed,etc.They attach great importance to product brand construction and have a significant driving role in increasing farmers’income and agricultural efficiency.The leading agricultural enterprises in Gaoyou City have played a positive role and impact on the development of modern agriculture,mainly manifested in adjusting and optimizing the agricultural industrial structure,innovating agricultural production and operation models,promoting the formation of local agricultural characteristic brands,driving industrial alliances,promoting agricultural technology research and development,and driving farmers’ employment and income.The study also conducted a cross-sectional analysis of three leading agricultural enterprises,namely Hongda Feed,Qiwu Aquatic Products,and Gaoyou Duck Group.Their common characteristics are mainly reflected in their emphasis on relying on regional resources,emphasizing enterprise transformation and upgrading,emphasizing their own brand building,closely connecting with farmers,and focusing on developing stable markets.Their operating difficulties mainly include easy impact on profits,severe homogeneous competition,single product structure,and insufficient talent reserves.Case analysis shows that enterprise development should focus on its own advantages and form distinct characteristics;Product quality is the magic weapon for enterprise development and success;The construction of product brands cannot be separated from publicity and promotion;Technological innovation provides an inexhaustible driving force for the development of enterprises.Research has also shown that the current development of agricultural leading enterprises in Gaoyou City still faces problems such as low individual strength,multiple product brands but low reputation,insufficient industrial development momentum,and a single business model.The main reasons are that the enterprise management model is not standardized enough,policy support is not in place,brand promotion is not sufficient,talent reserves are insufficient,innovation and excellence are not strong enough,and the interest connection method is relatively loose.Based on theoretical analysis,case analysis,and practical research,countermeasures and suggestions for improving the quality and efficiency of agricultural leading enterprises in Gaoyou City have been proposed.Firstly,the government should strengthen policy support,increase the recruitment of related projects,strengthen financial credit support,cultivate new business entities,build a sound service system,and fill in gaps in infrastructure construction;The second is to maintain stable market order and establish a sound market mechanism at the market level;The third is to strengthen enterprise management,adjust business models,and transform operational concepts at the enterprise level.
