| Relying on the developed transportation infrastructure network, the urban agglomeration has built closer economic links, making the spatial organization more compact, thus realizing the overall high homogeneity, and ultimately promoting the integration process of the urban agglomeration. However, the Yangtze River Economic Belt is an important supporting belt to promote the transformation of China’s regional development pattern, and both the population size and the total economic volume have occupied an important position. To build a coordinated development pattern of the Yangtze River Economic Belt,we must rely on the construction of urban agglomeration. The urban agglomeration along the Yangtze River is not only an effective carrier to achieve high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, but also its main space. However,at this stage, the urban agglomeration of the Yangtze River Economic Belt is affected by many factors, such as the differentiation of policy guidance, the low degree of traffic connectivity and the unbalanced economic development, and the overall integration pattern has not yet formed. Therefore, this thesis explores the impact of transportation infrastructure on the integrated development of urban agglomerations in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, which is not only conducive to the construction of a comprehensive three-dimensional transportation corridor, improves the overall transportation efficiency of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and provides a realistic basis for the integration of urban agglomerations in the Yangtze River Economic Belt to achieve high-quality development, but also provides experience reference and work ideas for the practice of integrated development of urban agglomerations in other regions and even the whole country.First of all, this thesis combs the relevant basic theories and research results, providing a corresponding theoretical basis for the impact of transportation infrastructure on the integration of urban agglomeration.Secondly,it analyzes the impact mechanism of transportation infrastructure on the integration of urban agglomeration in the Yangtze River Economic Belt as a whole and various subsystems in combination with many economic effects produced by transportation infrastructure;Furthermore, the comprehensive evaluation index system of urban agglomeration integration, including industrial economy, factor market, public services and ecological environment, has been constructed, and the level evaluation and current situation analysis of the development of transportation infrastructure and urban agglomeration integration of urban agglomeration in the Yangtze River Economic Belt have been carried out. Then, the characteristics of the spatial connection network of the integration of transportation infrastructure and urban agglomeration in the Yangtze River Economic Belt are analyzed, and the traffic connection is classified and discussed from three aspects of highway, railway and aviation. Finally,a Spatial Durbin Model is constructed to quantitatively measure the spatial impact of transportation infrastructure on the integrated whole of urban agglomeration and its subsystems. The final conclusion is as follows:First, from the perspective of the current state of development. In the time dimension, the integration of urban agglomerations developed rapidly in the early stage and slightly slowed down in the later stage.Among the subsystems, the level of industrial economic development is the highest, followed by public services, ecological environment and factor markets, and the development trend of transportation infrastructure and the integration of urban agglomerations have great overlap, but the growth trend of transportation infrastructure is more obvious. In terms of spatial dimension, the two spaces as a whole show a step-like difference between east, middle and west. However, the integration of urban agglomerations is radial in the core of each sub-urban agglomeration, while the transportation infrastructure is gradually developing towards a polycentric and balanced spatial pattern.Second, from the perspective of spatial connection network characteristics. The overall economic connection of the urban agglomeration in the Yangtze River Economic Belt shows a state of total increase, intensity enhancement and directional stability, but it shows strong regional differentiation characteristics in space, and has a certain regional hierarchical distribution characteristics within each sub-urban agglomeration, and the urban economic connection across urban agglomerations is obviously insufficient.Transport links are similar to economic links, but each type presents different network characteristics.Among them, the highway connection shows multi-center radiation characteristics; The railway is the axis connection of the core city extending outward, and the aviation forms a "triangle" hierarchical nested structure.Third, from the perspective of spatial impact effect. The transportation infrastructure of urban agglomerations in the Yangtze River Economic Belt has a positive role in promoting the integration of urban agglomerations. At the same time,it also has a significant positive spatial impact on industrial economy, factor market and ecological environment subsystem, but there is a partial negative impact on public services. Finally, according to the research conclusions, three countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to promote the integrated development of transportation infrastructure and urban agglomeration in the Yangtze River Economic Belt: first, build the integrated coordination mechanism and multifaceted regional cooperation mechanism of urban agglomeration at different levels, and strengthen the urban links across urban agglomeration;Second, provide differentiated regional transportation infrastructure construction supply based on actual demand, and promote the construction of threedimensional channels in the Yangtze River Economic Belt;Third, establish a regional consultation system for transportation infrastructure, promote the common development of the four subsystems, and strengthen the integration of urban agglomeration along the Yangtze River Economic Belt. |
