Research Of Internet Service Industry Competitive Index System

The rapid development of the digital economy takes the modern information network as the main carrier,in which the Internet service industry plays an important role.The revolution triggered by Internet technology has been changing the way of human life and economic development deeply as well.The Internet is increasingly growing as one of the main factors to boost economic growth.For the current development of the Internet industry in China,it has achieved rapid growth and has a leading position in the world.However,there are many issues that need to be addressed.Thus,it is of great practical significance to establish a competitiveness evaluation index system of the Internet service industry.Through the research and analysis of the Internet service industry evaluation indicators,we can understand the strengths and weaknesses of the Chinese Internet service industry more clearly.On the basis of relevant literature review,this paper is mainly to sort out the relevant definitions,related theories and evaluation models of industrial competitiveness,as well as analyze the core technology,service form,specific connotation,classifications and industrial characteristics of the Internet service industry.Through developing Michael Porter’s Diamond model theory in the field of the Internet service industry,it is to establish a new evaluation framework to measure the industrial competitiveness of the Internet industry.Additionally,learning from the IMD,WEF evaluation method and based on the framework including four main aspects,the evaluation index system of Internet service industry competitiveness has been constructed,which has 3 layers,4 primary indexes and 19 secondary indexes.Finally,this paper will apply the evaluation index system of Internet service industry competitiveness in practice.Through collecting and measuring corresponding data of indicators,this paper will compare the different industrial competitiveness of the Internet service in China,America and Japan.It is to find out the advantages and gaps of the Internet service between China and other two developed countries.The result and analysis can be the reliable and scientific basis to put forward suggestions and measures to accelerate the development of the Internet service industry in China.According to the results,this paper will ultimately come up with suggestions and countermeasures to improve the Internet service industry in China.
