Research On The Financial Performance Of Hongdou Shares Under The Asset-light Operation Mode

Due to the booming development of local clothing brands and the continuous presence of foreign clothing brands,the domestic clothing industry is under enormous competitive pressure,while the popularity of online sales channels has also caused a certain impact on traditional offline sales channels.The boom and saturation of the apparel industry and the introduction of the ’fast fashion’ concept by foreign apparel brands require apparel companies to establish their own brand advantages,which also requires the apparel industry to have an operating model that is suitable for them.Therefore,the operation mode used by enterprises is the key to establishing their own brand advantages,quickly occupying the market and creating corporate value.Therefore,based on the current problems faced by the apparel industry,this paper takes the asset-light operating model of Hongdou Corporation as the research object to study how the asset-light model affects the financial performance of enterprises,so as to enrich the existing field of research on the asset-light model and provide empirical evidence relevant to apparel enterprises.This paper takes Hongdou as the research object,and firstly we introduce three related concepts: light assets,light asset operation model and financial performance;secondly,it elaborates on the current development of China’s apparel industry,the development profile of Hongdou and the financial performance of Hongdou’s light asset operation model;finally,it uses EVA indicators and financial indicators to further analyse the four capabilities of Hongdou in terms of solvency,profitability,operational capability and development capability.The study further analyses the positive and negative impacts of the adoption of the asset-light operating model by Hongdou,and puts forward corresponding insights and recommendations.
