At present, the globalization of the service industry is constantly moving towards a new stage of development. The productive service industry, which is mainly characterized by knowledge-intensiveness,has played a notable role in improving the quality of regional economic development.Relying on the unique economic location advantages of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, its producer service industry has developed rapidly and its agglomeration trend is obvious, and it has developed into an important pole in the industrial layout of my country’s modern service industry. In the context of high-quality economic development strategy, exploring how the cluster of producer services can better boost economic development and improve quality and efficiency has become the focus of this article. This article first defines the concept and connotation of producer service industry, specialized cluster, diversified cluster, economic development quality and economic policy uncertainty.Secondly, according to the existing literature research results, based on the two different cluster modes of producer service industry specialization and diversification,it analyzes the effect mechanism of producer service industry cluster on the quality of economic growth from the theoretical mechanism level. The importance of economic policy uncertainty in the process of agglomeration of producer services and the boost of the quality of economic development has further explored the moderating effect of economic policy uncertainty. Then, the professional concentration and diversified concentration of the producer service industry were calculated.Based on the new development concept,a integrated measure system of economic development quality contains g the five levels of "innovation, coordination, green, openness, and sharing" was constructed, and entropy was used.Method to calculate the economic growth quality of the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2005 to 2019.By constructing an econometric model for empirical testing, the research results show that the effects of professional agglomeration and diversified agglomeration of producer services in the Yangtze River Economic Belt on the quality of economic development are both in a non-linear inverted "U" shape, and they are calculated separately.Inflection point value,in order to ensure the robustness of the empirical results, methods such as lagging the explanatory variables by one period, replacing the core explanatory variables, reducing the research time interval, and increasing the control variables are used to deal with and analyze the problems of endogeneity and the robustness of the empirical outcomes. At the same time,in order to further explore the adjustment effect of economic policy uncertainty, this paper constructs a non-linear adjustment effect test model based on the benchmark regression model. The result found that economic policy uncertainty is related to the diversification of the producer service industry and the quality of economic development. There is a positive "U"-shaped adjustment effect between them, but there is no adjustment effect between specialization agglomeration and the quality of economic development. Finally, based on the above conclusions,on the basis of theory and empirical evidence, this article puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for the effect and status quo between the agglomeration of producer services in the Yangtze River Economic Zone and the quality of economic development. |
