China has entered a new period of high-quality development,and people’s demand for a better life has been continuously strengthened.With this,profound changes have taken place in the mode of transportation,from the previous "slow" to "fast",and then to the era of pursuing the diversification of travel modes.However,under the background of the rapid increase of urban population and the diversification of employment forms,there has been huge traffic pressure,environmental pollution,traffic accidents and other problems.It is very important to study the factors that affect the travel structure of urban residents.China is located in the northern hemisphere,and most cities have distinct seasonal climate;In the study of residents’ travel mode choice at home and abroad,scholars have relatively more impact on Residents’ travel caused by extreme weather change,but less impact on traffic choice caused by seasonal change;Based on the fact that B is a city with distinct seasons,the author analyzes the climate characteristics of B by introducing the climate characteristics and travel characteristics of four seasons in China,and studies the main travel modes of residents’ seasonal travel in B by taking the existing shared bicycles,buses,taxis,walking,electric vehicles,bicycles and cars in B as the main travel modes.By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of RP and SP survey methods,RP survey method is selected;Determine the sample size according to the urban population density,issue questionnaires according to the seasonal climate characteristics,collect data from three aspects: Travelers’ personal attributes,weather conditions and travel characteristics,and finally form seasonal questionnaire information,and conduct basic analysis on the data;The non aggregate model has a wide range of applications in the field of transportation,and the correlation between personal attributes,weather conditions and travel characteristics is not high.Therefore,multiple logit(MNL)models are selected for parameter estimation,and the sensitivity of the three influencing factors is analyzed.The results show that gender,age,monthly income,whether to own a car,temperature,wind force,weather conditions(such as rainfall and snowfall),travel purpose,peak period,travel distance and travel cost are the significant influencing factors of seasonal travel mode choice of B residents.Through the elastic value analysis of main travel modes,it is concluded that whether there is a car,temperature,weather conditions,whether there is a peak period,travel distance and travel cost have a significant impact on the choice of travel modes.Based on the analysis of the influencing factors of residents’ seasonal travel mode selection in city B,the following three suggestions are put forward: first,improve the dispatching frequency of shared single vehicle according to the climate characteristics such as weather and temperature;Second,comprehensively consider the factors affecting the morning and evening peak hours and bad weather,and improve the attraction capacity of public transport by building an information platform;Third,optimize the transportation supply and demand policy in combination with the current urban population age distribution,gender ratio and monthly income.
