Research On NIO Financial Performance Based On Entropy Method

With the implementation of my country’s "14th Five-Year Plan","carbon neutrality" has attracted more and more attention as a brand-new strategic goal in my country.As an important part of my country’s "carbon neutrality" field,new energy vehicles have been also developed rapidly.As one of the earliest Internet car manufacturers,NIO has always had a relatively high market share and developed rapidly.However,since 2019,NIO’s financial situation has frequently experienced large fluctuations,which has attracted strong market attention.In view of the above situation,this thesis analyzes the financial data of NIO,and relies on the entropy method to construct a financial performance evaluation system suitable for the new energy vehicle industry,so as to obtain comprehensive,objective and accurate evaluation results,and then explore the financial problems of NIO.Reasons for frequent occurrence and put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.This thesis firstly makes a brief statement on the related concepts and theories of enterprise financial performance evaluation and entropy method,and briefly introduces the general situation and financial status of NIO Automobile Co.,Ltd.Starting from five aspects,seventeen financial indicators are selected,and a financial performance evaluation system is constructed on this basis.Then,seventeen sample companies were selected in the new energy vehicle industry,and the entropy method was used to calculate the weight of each index in the financial performance evaluation system,and the comprehensive score was calculated based on the financial data.The comprehensive scores of NIO were sorted and compared.At the same time,the financial data of NIO from 2018 to 2020 were processed and analyzed by the entropy method,and it was concluded that NIO’s development capability and scientific research investment level were good,solvency and The conclusion that the operating capacity is average and the profitability is poor.Finally,according to the above conclusions,the shortcomings of NIO are analyzed,and some countermeasures and suggestions are put forward from three aspects: improving corporate profitability,rationally allocating various funds,and enhancing risk management and control awareness.Through the research of this article,NIO can realize the financial problems at the current stage and the gap with other car companies in the same industry,which is conducive to the healthy growth of the company,and also hopes to play a certain role in my country’s new energy vehicle industry.The reference role to promote the good development of new energy vehicles.
