| High-quality development requires that development must be driven by innovation and encouraging the level of industrial innovation capability,which is essential to build an innovation-driven country.The National Innovation Index Report pointed out that the ranking of China’s overall innovation compared with the level of China’s GDP is low.It is vital that changing from extensive mode of growth to innovative and high-quality mode of growth nowadays.This paper focus on manufacturing industry to study the impact of technology innovation spillover on innovation capability under innovation transmission,and this paper suggests improvements to industry and the authority according to the empirical results.Firstly,this paper reviews the research of innovation spillover,innovation transmission and innovation capability,clarifies the concepts of innovation spillover and innovation capability,explores the mechanism of innovation transmission moderate the direct effect of technology innovation spillover on innovation capability,and constructs a theoretical model framework.Secondly,based on the patent data of manufacturing sector from Patsnap website,this paper measures the concentration and width of technology innovation cooperation and transfer spillover,then the technological innovation spillover indicator system can be obtained using entropy method.Based on the input-output data of the manufacturing industry for six years from 2005 to 2017,the influence and reaction coefficients of industries are measured by Rstudio,and manufacturing industry are classified into influence-based innovation and quadrant-based innovation,respectively,according to their relative and absolute relationships.Finally,robust cross-sectional regression method is used to clarify the moderating role of influence-based innovation and quadrant-based innovation in the impact of technology innovation spillover on innovation capability.The empirical results show that:(1)technology innovation cooperation spillover and transfer spillover both have positive effects on innovation capability,and cooperation spillover has stronger positive effects;(2)influence-based innovation enhances the positive effects of technology innovation spillover on innovation capability;(3)quadrant-based innovation plays a regulatory role in the relationship of technology innovation spillover,and it reveals a "the strong get stronger" Matthew effect.The mechanism of innovation spillover to innovation capability has been found through empirical results,then we can make some policy suggestions about innovative development to industrial sector from three aspects of innovation collaboration and transfer,influence-based innovation and quadrant-based innovation,which will promote to create better innovative circumstances. |
