An Empirical Study On The Influencing Factors Of Commercial Health Insurance Demand In Jiangxi Province

Through the analysis of the development status of commercial health insurance in Jiangxi Province,this thesis finds that there are many health insurance business entities and high loss rates in the commercial health insurance market in Jiangxi Province.From both internal and external aspects,the influencing factors of the development of commercial health insurance in Jiangxi Province were qualitatively studied,and on this basis,quantitative research was conducted,and eight indicators(per capita disposable income of urban residents,per capita health care expenditure of urban residents,proportion of medical and health expenditure in fiscal expenditure,GDP,inflation rate,insurance depth,urbanization level and aging degree)that may affect the demand for commercial health insurance in Jiangxi Province from 2006 to 2020 were collected and sorted out,and a panel data model was constructed.Regression analysis is performed using Stata software.The conclusion shows that the proportion of medical and health expenditure in fiscal expenditure and the inflation rate have a negative effect on health insurance premium income,while the factors that have a positive effect on health insurance premium income are insurance depth,GDP,per capita disposable income of urban residents,commercial insurance policies,per capita medical care expenditure of urban residents,aging degree,and urbanization level,of which the depth of insurance has the greatest impact on it,and the degree of aging and urbanization level are not significant.Combined with the empirical results,I believe that countermeasures such as improving residents’ awareness of health insurance,increasing residents’ disposable income,introducing preferential policies,and improving the quality of health products should be taken to promote the vigorous development of commercial health insurance in Jiangxi Province.
