| Since the 1970 s,the service industry, especially the producer service industry, has become the commanding height of global industrial competition, providing an inexhaustible impetus for worldwide trade. The producer service industry of the world’s major developed countries has developed rapidly and has become an important part of a country’s core competitiveness, which determines a country’s international economic status.Today’s world is undergoing profound changes unseen in a century, and countries are in a critical period for the development of productive service trade. How to gain a foothold in the fierce international competition has become the focus of all countries.Under this background, this paper studies the international competitiveness of producer services trade based on the perspective of the world’s major producer services trade countries, and gives policy suggestions to enhance the international competitiveness of China’s producer services trade in combination with China’s actual situation..At present, there are differences in the trade scale, trade balance and trade structure of producer services trade among countries. In terms of trade scale, the United States has always ranked first, the United Kingdom second,China has surpassed India and Japan, and the overall scale of South Korea is relatively small;in terms of trade balance, the United States and the United Kingdom have always been in a trade surplus, and the gap with other countries continues to grow Increase,India has turned from trade deficit to trade surplus,China,Japan and South Korea are still in trade deficit;in terms of trade structure, countries mainly focus on import and export transportation services and other commercial services, and the United States and Japan export intellectual property royalties services. The proportion is significantly higher than that of other countries. The proportion of telecommunications, computer and information services exports of India and China is relatively high, and the proportion of financial services exports of the United Kingdom and the United States is higher than that of other countries.By selecting the MS index, the TC index and the RCA index to measure and compare the international competitiveness of the producer services of various countries in the overall and sub-sectors,it can be found that the overall international competitiveness of the United States,Britain and India is stronger than that of other countries; The industry and telecommunications, computer and information industries have advantages, but there is still a gap with South Korea and India;in insurance, finance and intellectual property royalties services, the United States,Britain and Japan have strong international competitiveness, while China and India have no competitive advantage; In the transportation industry, only South Korea has strong international competitiveness, and the competitiveness of other countries is weak. The main influencing factors that cause the current differences in the international competitiveness of producer services trade among countries include technological innovation level, infrastructure level, foreign direct investment and human capital, etc.Specifically, technological innovation level, infrastructure level, foreign direct investment and human capital It has a significant positive effect on the competitiveness of the producer service industry, while the degree of opening up of the industry has a certain inhibitory effect, and the level of urbanization has little effect. Therefore,in order to improve the international competitiveness of producer services trade,my country should speed up the level of technological innovation, accelerate the upgrading of industrial structure;improve the level of infrastructure, improve the quality of foreign investment;strengthen the development of producer services, and promote integration with the manufacturing industry;Great talent training efforts, accumulation of human capital;appropriate opening to the outside world, appropriate trade protection;improving the legal system and creating a good environment. |
