Since ancient times,China’ s rural society has always existed in a form of clustering under the unique social policy environment of China. The rural society in the clustering mode presents a kind of collectivist values beyond western individualism, and forms a special sense of social cohesion under the catalysis of this value Subjective well-being(SWB)is a hot research topic in the field of social culture and an indicator reflecting the changes of residents’ life quality in the process of rapid social development,at present already had a number of studies from the perspective of culturology, discusses the influencing factors of rural tourism community residents subjective well-being,some scholars also discussed social cohesion and the relationship between residents’ subjective well-being,but for this category is only focus on the obvious linear relationship between the two,and few studies based on the inherent culture of the Chinese rural community characteristics of rural tourism community social cohesion There is no further research on the relationship between the special social cohesion of rural tourism communities and residents’ subjective well-being.On the basis of literature review, this study discusses the particularity of social cohesion of rural tourism communities, generates the concept of collective cohesion, and tries to explore the connotation of collective cohesion of rural tourism communities, and uses scientific and rigorous multi-step scale development procedures to preliminarily compile the scale of collective cohesion of rural tourism communities At the same time, the concept of place attachment was introduced, and the relationship between collective cohesive place attachment and residents’ subjective well-being was hypothesized based on the cognitive-emotional-intention(CAC)theory and social identity theory. The model was verified by questionnaire survey and SPSS and AMOS software. The results show that:(1)Collective cohesion is composed of community collective cohesion atmosphere and residents’ collective cohesion consciousness.Community institutional norms, social relations and collective goals constitute the collective cohesion atmosphere at the macro level, which promotes collective cohesion from the external level.Residents’ collective cohesion consciousness from the micro perspective plays an internal driving role in collective cohesion.(2)Both community cohesion atmosphere and residents’ collective cohesion consciousness have a significant positive impact on residents’ place attachment in rural tourism communities;(3)Place attachment has a significant positive effect on the subjective well-being of rural tourism community residents;(4)Both the collective cohesion atmosphere and residents’ collective cohesion consciousness of rural tourism communities have no significant direct effect on residents’ subjective well-being,while the local attachment plays a completely mediating role in the relationship between collective cohesion and subjective well-being.Finally,according to the results of empirical research, from the perspective of enhancing collective cohesion in rural communities, this study improved the collective cohesion atmosphere of communities and residents’ collective cohesion consciousness through expanding ways to enhance local dependence and identity,so as to put forward countermeasures to promote the subjective well-being of local residents.
