Technology is constantly changing and industrial revolution is sweeping in the world.Different sectors are developing with each other.China’s economy is developing rapidly.In the face of other countries’ blocking of China’s core technologies and intensified external competition,traditional development methods cannot support China to maintain its competitive edge.Scientific and technological innovation is an important factor to overcome difficulties in development.The key breakthrough to solve the "bottleneck" problem and boost the transformation of kinetic energy.In recent years,Guangdong province has developed rapidly and its economic size has been growing continuously,ranking first in China and far exceeding 90% of the countries in the world.The efficient and stable economic development of Guangdong Province has also promoted China’s economy to a certain extent.At the same time,Guangdong’s innovation level ranks first in China,and its industrial structure is also facing major adjustment.How effective will the power of innovation into the industrial development of Guangdong province,to boost the Guangdong science and technology innovation form the connotative growth pattern,make samples of Guangdong science and technology innovation,to ensure the safety of industry chain,through the industrial chain plugging point,promote the industry development,is our current urgent to solve the problem,at the same time in other parts of the innovation drive industry development also has positive significance.First of all,through sorting out the relevant research results,the concept is defined,and the theories and mechanism are elaborated in this paper.Secondly,he status quo of Guangdong province is analyzed from the input and output of innovation.It analyzes the overall situation of Guangdong province’s industrial structure and high-tech industry.Then,in the empirical test part,the classical measurement method and fs QCA research method are used to do specific empirical research.This article main research conclusions are:first,Guangdong’s overall industrial structure is developing well,but the speed of industrial structure upgrading varies from place to place.The pearl River Delta region has the highest level of industrial structure upgrading,followed by eastern and western Guangdong and northern Guangdong.And the region with higher level of industrial structure upgrading also has higher level of scientific and technological innovation,which shows a relatively consistent trend.Second,from the empirical results of classical econometric analysis,the improvement of the intensity of scientific and technological innovation will have a positive effect on the upgrading of Guangdong province’s industrial structure.The industrial structure upgrading effect of technological innovation in eastern Guangdong is the largest,followed by northern Guangdong,and the pearl River Delta,while the effect of western Guangdong is not obvious.Thirdly,fs QCA method is used to analyze the path that the conditional configuration of scientific and innovation drives industrial upgrading.It is concluded that under the conditional configuration of scientific and technological innovation,there are four paths that produce the upgrading of high industrial structure and three paths that produce the upgrading of low industrial structure.Finally,based on the above research,this paper gives some suggestions.
