| Sichuan Province will continue to promote the construction of"four directions and eight corridors" strategic comprehensive transportation corridor and foreign economic corridor,build China’s pilot free trade zone with high quality,and accelerate the formation of a three-dimensional and comprehensive opening-up new pattern of "four directions expansion and global opening-up".According to the endogenous growth theory and the new trade theory,the technology spillover effect of foreign trade is an important means to promote the technological progress of countries,especially underdeveloped countries.Through production effect,"learning by doing" effect,competition effect and other channels,the R&D capital stock overflowed from abroad can play a decisive role in a country’s technological progress.Therefore,under the background of expanding the opening-up of Sichuan Province,this paper mainly explores the impact of the technology spillover of intermediate imports on the total factor productivity of Sichuan Province,and explores the path to promote technological progress and economic growth by adjusting the import trade structure.After analyzing the current situation of import trade and the development of technological innovation in Sichuan Province,this paper finds that there is a large space to affect the total factor productivity through the import technology spillover of intermediate goods.After calculating the technology spillover and total factor productivity of intermediate imports,we add the R&D capital stock of Sichuan Province and make an empirical analysis based on the C-H model.The results show that in the long run,the technology spillover of intermediate imports in Sichuan Province can promote the total factor productivity.An increase of 1 unit of technology spillover will promote the total factor productivity by 0.367867 unit,but this effect has a certain time lag;The promotion effect of R&D capital stock in the province is small and may even be negative,but this negative effect usually occurs earlier and lasts for a short time;In the short term,the technology spillover effect of import trade in Sichuan Province and the stock of R&D capital in Sichuan Province have a certain inhibitory effect on the current total factor productivity.Finally,according to the above conclusions,this paper puts forward corresponding policy suggestions for the sustainable economic growth and development of Sichuan Province. |
