Effectively promoting the increase of farmers’ income is an important link to stabilize the results of poverty alleviation and ensure that farmers get rich.It is also a key problem that needs to be solved urgently in China today.As a new type of agricultural business entity,farmers’ professional cooperatives play a vital role in increasing farmers’ income and improving the level of agricultural development.This paper is based on 674 micro survey data of farmers in Panjin City and Yingkou City,Liaoning Province.Through the statistical analysis of the survey data,the specific factors affecting farmers’ participation in cooperatives and farmers’ income are identified.Finally,based on the OLS multiple linear regression model,farmers’ participation in professional cooperatives The organization analyzes the impact of its operating income,and uses propensity score matching to solve the endogenous problem to verify the robustness of the results.According to the research theme,the surveyed farmers’ gender,age,years of education,years of farming,whether they are village leaders,whether they are party members,family cultivated land area,family population size,whether there are demonstration studies,whether they have received technical guidance,and soil quality A total of 11 factors were used as control variables.The study found that: First,the participation of farmers in professional cooperative organizations has a significant positive impact on their operating income.Compared with farmers who did not participate in the cooperative,the average income of farmers who participated in the cooperative was 105.12 yuan more per mu.Other control variables include the level of education that has a negative impact on farmers’ operating income,whether it is a village cadre that has a positive impact on farmers’ operating income,the size of the family’s population has a negative impact on farmers’ operating income,whether to participate Agricultural training has a positive impact on farmers’ operating income,whether technical guidance is obtained has a positive impact on farmers’ operating income,and soil quality has a positive impact on farmers’ operating income;second,it overcomes the problem of sample self-selection After that,participation in professional cooperatives still has a significant positive impact on farmers’ operating income;third,heterogeneity analysis shows that participating in professional cooperatives will affect rural young farmers and middle-aged farmers,primary school and below,and high school and above.Farmers with educational background have a significant positive impact.Through the research conclusions on the impact of 674 farmers’ participation in agricultural cooperatives on farmers’ operating income in Panjin City and Yingkou City,Liaoning Province,countermeasures and suggestions are finally put forward.This paper proposes to improve the service quality of cooperatives,strengthen the operation and management of cooperatives,and realize the effect of continuous income increase.Strengthen policy support to ensure that various government departments and village collectives provide strong support for cooperatives in terms of policies and funds.Strengthen exchanges and cooperation among rural grassroots organizations,market investors,and scientific research institutions,introduce cooperative funds and new projects,and improve cooperative management.Standardize the benefit distribution mechanism of cooperatives,encourage farmers to join the cooperative,open up channels for equity participation,and allow farmers to use non-monetary assets such as land management rights,forest rights,and physical assets to invest in equity,so as to ensure that the opportunities for farmers to become shares can be greatly increased.Develop a detailed training plan for cooperative members,carry out targeted teaching based on the actual needs of different members,appropriately increase the number of learning and training,invite professional lecturers to give lectures,and allocate learning and training resources fairly,so as to improve the level of human capital of farmer members and help them increase their income Policy recommendations.
