| With the rapid development of China’s dairy industry and increasing consumer demand for dairy products,the special characteristics of the dairy industry also put forward higher requirements for the fulfillment and disclosure of its social responsibility.Research shows that when enterprises undertake social responsibility and make timely and complete information disclosure,the market will also give positive feedback to enterprises,thus helping to establish a good image of enterprises,which requires enterprises to improve the level of social responsibility report writing and improve the quality of social responsibility information disclosure on the basis of effectively undertaking social responsibility.At present,there are no mandatory requirements and unified regulations for enterprises to disclose social responsibility information in China,which leads to the uneven level of social responsibility information disclosure among enterprises and the existence of problems in disclosure in general.The thesis takes Bright Dairy Co.,Ltd.as the research object,uses the hierarchical analysis method,combines the stakeholder theory and the characteristics of the dairy industry itself to establish the evaluation index model,and confirms the weight of indicators at all levels by issuing questionnaires to experts,so as to build a social responsibility report quality evaluation system suitable for the dairy industry;secondly,the three-value scoring method is used to score the social responsibility reports disclosed by Bright Dairy from FY2018 to FY2020 However,while the quality of the reports has improved,there are still problems of incomplete disclosure,lack of industry-specific indicators,lack of quantitative indicators,asymmetric disclosure of positive and negative information,and lack of reliability of the reports due to the lack of verification by third-party institutions.Finally,we compare Bright Dairy with other listed companies in the industry that disclose social responsibility reports separately,and find that there are common problems in the dairy industry that companies do not disclose negative information in their social responsibility reports and none of them have been verified by third-party institutions,and analyze the advantages and gaps of Bright Dairy’s social responsibility information disclosure compared with the control companies.In order to improve the level of disclosure of social responsibility information of Bright Dairy,it is recommended that the company take measures to improve the quality of social responsibility information disclosure by establishing a functional department,improving the content of report disclosure,increasing quantitative indicators and disclosing key performance tables,hiring a professional third-party organization to review the reports,and strengthening the disclosure of negative information.It is hoped that this study will help Bright Dairy improve its social responsibility report preparation and information disclosure,and also provide lessons for other companies in the dairy industry. |
