Research On The Influence Of "New Rural Insurance" On Family Intergenerational Economic Support

At present,China has entered the aging society,and the problem of providing for the aged is particularly prominent.In China,family pension has always occupied the main position of China’s pension,China’s traditional family pension is " Raise-support" mode,which reflects the interaction between the family generation,reflects the intergenerational relationship between family members.Family intergenerational economic support can directly reflect the intergenerational relationship among family members.In addition,the government guarantees the quality of the elderly in rural areas constantly improve the "new rural insurance" system and other social pension to supplement the vacancy of family pension.This paper studies the impact of "new rural insurance" on family intergenerational economic support.In the first part,based on the life cycle theory,feedback model,responsibility internalization theory,social exchange theory and cooperation cycle theory,this paper explores the internal mechanism of "new rural insurance" and family intergenerational economic support from the two research perspectives of social ethics and altruistic exchange motivation.The second part uses OLS regression to study whether the participation of rural elderly in the "new rural insurance" will have an impact on family intergenerational economic support.Then,according to the average consumption income level in rural areas,the amount of intergenerational economic support is divided into three levels.Multi level logit regression is used to deeply study the impact of the "new rural insurance" on the amount of intergenerational economic support to different degrees.In the third part,PSM and logit regression are used to test the robustness.Finally,according to whether the rural elderly care for their grandchildren and whether there is agricultural land at home,the heterogeneity analysis is carried out.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows: the participation of rural elderly in the "new rural insurance" increases the economic support for their children,but does not affect the economic support of their children to their parents.The rural elderly who take care of their grandchildren are more likely to obtain the economic support of their children,and the rural elderly with agricultural land at home are more inclined to give the economic support to their children.And put forward four suggestions: first,improve the pension standard;Second,improve the supporting facilities for the elderly;Third,strengthen family building capacity;Fourth,improve the absorption capacity of inflow cities and meet the diversified pension needs of the elderly.
