| Agricultural insurance is very important in the process of agricultural production.In recent years,a number of No.1 central document have clearly emphasized the importance of agricultural insurance services for "agriculture,rural areas and farmers",and requested that agricultural insurance be used to accelerate the development of China’s agricultural modernization.Agricultural industrialization is the only way to gradually realize the goal of agricultural modernization.Under this background,the in-depth study on how to give full play to the supporting effect of agricultural insurance on agricultural industrialization has great theoretical value and practical significance.This paper mainly uses the methods of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,theoretical analysis and empirical analysis to make a systematic economic analysis on the impact of China’s agricultural insurance on agricultural industrialization.By analyzing the current situation of China’s agricultural insurance and agricultural industrialization,this paper analyzes and summarizes the existing problems.Based on the panel data of 31 provinces and cities in China from 2007 to 2019,agricultural industrialization is taken as the explanatory variable(8 variables are proposed by factor analysis method),agricultural insurance is taken as the core explanatory variable(agricultural insurance development level,agricultural insurance compensation level),and four control variables(human capital,financial support for agriculture,urbanization rate,industrialization)are set,Through static panel regression(mixed estimation model,fixed effect model)and panel quantile regression model,this paper empirically analyzes the actual utility of agricultural insurance in the development of agricultural industrialization in China.The data samples of 31 provinces and cities are divided into two sub samples: the East and the central and western regions,and empirical analysis is carried out to investigate the differences between regions.The analysis points out that the development of agricultural industrialization in China needs to rely on the guarantee and stability function of agricultural insurance;At the same time,the improvement of agricultural insurance system can not only ensure the orderly development of agricultural industrialization,but also depend on the continuous optimization and upgrading of agricultural industrialization.Through the analysis and evaluation of the current situation of China’s agricultural insurance and agricultural industrialization development,it is concluded that China is currently mainly faced with problems such as the lack of farmers’ awareness of insurance,the lack of innovation of agricultural insurance products,and the single variety,which can not meet the needs of the development of agricultural industrialization.According to the empirical research,the development level of agricultural insurance has played a significant positive role in promoting the development of agricultural industrialization in China,and the impact of the eastern region is more significant than that of the central and western regions,showing regional differences;At different quantiles,there are also differences in the impact effects.At the low and high quantiles,the role of the development level of agricultural insurance in promoting agricultural industrialization is more and more obvious,and the size of the role shows the phenomenon of low between high and high schools on both sides,that is,the lower and higher the development level of agricultural industrialization,the greater the positive impact of the development level of agricultural insurance.However,the level of agricultural insurance compensation has not shown a significant impact on agricultural industrialization whether in the whole country or in the eastern,central and western regions,as well as in different quantiles.How to maximize the guarantee function of agricultural insurance,we should take relevant measures to actively guide the orderly development of agricultural insurance,encourage the research and innovation of agricultural insurance products,gradually expand the scale and coverage of agricultural insurance,and improve the compensation level of agricultural insurance;Enhance farmers’ professional technology and strengthen the publicity of agricultural insurance to improve farmers’ insurance awareness;Using science and technology to improve the service quality of insurance companies and improve the efficiency of claims settlement services;Establish a mechanism to support and protect agricultural insurance innovation,maintain a fair competition environment,and promote the innovation and development of agricultural insurance. |
