Since the reform and opening up,China has gradually shifted from export-oriented and investment-oriented to domestic-demand-led development,stepping into a new era of old and new growth drivers.In recent years,the consumption power of our country has been enhanced at a faster pace,the consumption scale has continued to expand,the consumption structure has been optimized,the consumption conditions have been improved,and the product types are developing towards a new trend of more diversified,layered,diversified and high-quality products.Based on the research of scholars,this thesis analyzes the direct and indirect interaction between industrial structure optimization and consumption upgrading,and then expounds their development and evolution since the reform and opening up.In the empirical research,the upgrading of consumption is defined as consumption level,consumption structure and consumption environment upgrading.There are 10 measures in each measure,and the evaluation index system of China’s consumption upgrading is constructed.Through the combination of theory and practice,this thesis draws the following conclusions: First,through co-integration test,it shows that there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between consumption upgrading and industrial structure optimization.Secondly,based on the theory of grey relational entropy and dissipative structure,it is found that the mechanism of residents’ consumption upgrading and the rationalization of industrial structure are more decentralized.But there has been no good coordination between consumption upgrading and industrial structure upgrading,and the characteristics of entropy change are not very significant.
