Research On The Influence Of Knowledge Accumulation On Regional Innovation

General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out in the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China that innovation is the first driving force leading development and the strategic support for building a modern economic system.Improving the level of regional technological innovation has not only become the key for region to obtain core competitiveness,but also become an important driving force to promote China’s economic transformation.With the gradual disappearance of China’s demographic dividend,the continuous transformation and upgrading of the economic structure,and the introduction of a series of major national strategic decisions such as the strategy of becoming a cyber power,the innovation-driven development strategy,and the "Internet Plus" action plan,the Internet will continue to promote the development and evolution of China’s economic situation.The wide application of the Internet is gradually integrating with many economic fields in China,becoming an important factor to promote knowledge accumulation and innovation.Therefore,this paper includes the Internet development as an important factor into the mechanism of knowledge accumulation affecting enterprise innovation for empirical research.Specifically,this article selects the Chinese provincial level data,first of all,from the Internet popularization,Internet infrastructure,Internet application and Internet industry scale,using principal component analysis to build Internet development of provinces and cities,comprehensive evaluation index,the second is to innovation as the explained variable,the accumulated knowledge as explanatory variables,The Internet development was used as a moderating variable to conduct multiple regression analysis to explore the influence of knowledge accumulation on regional innovation and the moderating effect of Internet development.Furthermore,this paper uses the panel threshold model to analyze the nonlinearrelationship between knowledge accumulation and regional innovation efficiency,and further explores whether the nonlinear relationship has regional differences according to the division of regions.The results show that when the level of Internet development is taken as the threshold variable,there is a significant double threshold effect between the level of knowledge accumulation and regional innovation.When the development level of Internet is at a high level,the Internet plays the most significant role in driving regional technological innovation by knowledge accumulation.Moreover,there are regional differences in the effect of knowledge accumulation driving technology innovation,and the spillover dividend of knowledge accumulation driving effect in eastern China is greater than that in central and western China.The possible contribution of this paper is to reveal the internal evolution law of "fragmented" knowledge and technological innovation driven by the Internet,enrich the factor endowment theory and knowledge-centered technological innovation theory,and provide theoretical basis for fully absorbing knowledge accumulation and technological innovation spillover to implement effective Internet development policies.Can bring some inspiration to the regional governments,its better to perfect the relevant policy and information to support regional innovation system,more effective use of the Internet bring the knowledge overflow,which will provide a scientific basis for the current innovation driven development strategy implementation and Suggestions,to improve the efficiency of China’s provincial innovation capability and innovation has important practical significance.In view of these conclusions,this paper puts forward four suggestions: First,strengthen the construction of Internet infrastructure,improve the quality of Internet development,improve the structure of the Internet and deepen the development of informatization;Second,in view of the differences in regional development,differentiated financial policies and interconnected development strategies should be formulated according to local conditions to promote the development of innovation system;Third,we should strengthen the cultivation and application of innovative talents in high-end technologies;Fourth,explore the construction of the industrial Internet industry technology innovation mechanism with enterprises as the main body and industry-university-research cooperation.
