Study On The Impact Of Entrepreneurship On High-quality Economic Development

China’s economy has shifted to a high-quality development stage that focuses on quality improvement,economic structure optimization and innovation-driven development.Enterprises with core competitiveness are the very important microscopic foundation for promoting high-quality economic development.And entrepreneurship is a vital production factor for promoting high-quality economic development.There are rich researches on entrepreneurship and high-quality economic,while there are few periodicals that explicitly incorporate entrepreneurship and high-quality economic development into the same analytical framework,which can be further comprehensively improved in the construction of index system,mechanism of action analysis and empirical testing methods.This paper studies the impact of entrepreneurship on high-quality economic development from regional level through mechanism analysis and empirical analysis.In the analysis of the mechanism of action,based on the Endogenous Growth Theory,this paper believes that entrepreneurship is an important human capital.Entrepreneurship can promote the level of high-quality economic development through both innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit.Innovation spirit can enhance high-quality economic development by improving scientific and technological innovation,accelerating knowledge spillover,and promoting institutional innovation.Entrepreneurial spirit can enhance h ighquality economic development by accelerating market opportunity identification,improving resource allocation and factor mobility,and promoting market equilibrium.Before empirical analysis,this paper measures the comprehensive index of high-quality economic development and entrepreneurship by constructing a comprehensive evaluation index system,and takes the comprehensive index as the explained variable and core explanatory variables respectively in the empirical regression estimation.Arc GIS and Excel software are used to visually compare and analyze the differences in the level of highquality economic development and entrepreneurship in 30 provinces and the eastern,central and western regions of China from 2011 to 2019.In the empirical analysis,based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2019,this paper uses Stata to make the multiple regression models to analyze the impact of entrepreneurship,the impact of entrepreneurial innovation spirit and the impact of entrepreneurial spirit on high-quality economic development based on the analysis of Fixed-Effect estimation of the static panel model from the overall national level and the eastern,central and western regions of China.Considering that there may be a certain degree of sustainability in high-quality economic development,the first-order lag term of high-quality economic development is introduced in the explanatory variables.And a dynamic panel data model is constructed for the analysis.In order to solve the endogenous problems of the model caused by the addition of the lagged variable and bidirectional causality between entrepreneurship and high-quality economic development,this paper uses the two-step method of SYS-GMM to conduct regression.Entrepreneurship,entrepreneurial innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit are regarded as endogenous variables,and the analyses chooses second-order lag terms as tool variables.In the empirical analysis,government expenditure,fixed asset investment,marketization,financial development,and human capital are used as control variables.Make robustness tests by replacing dependent variable.This paper has three research conclusions.Firstly,different models and regression methods have collectively confirmed that en trepreneurship,innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit both have a significant positive role in promoting high-quality economic development.And the effect of entrepreneurial spirit is greater than that of innovation spirit.Second ly,in eastern,central and western regions,the impact of entrepreneurship,innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit on high-quality economic development is different.The effect of entrepreneurship on improving the level of high-quality economic development in the eastern and western regions is greater than that in the central region.The effect of innovation spirit in improving the level of high-quality economic development in the eastern and central regions is greater than that in the western region.The effect of entrepreneurial spirit on improving the level of high-quality economic development in the western region is obviously greater than that in the eastern and central regions.Third ly,there are large differences in the level of entrepreneurship and high-quality economic development in different provinces.And the development has the situation of regional agglomeration.The level of entrepreneurship and high-quality economic development is higher in the eastern region.Therefore,different regions need to analysis the resource endowments of their own development and focus on cultivating innovation spirit and entrepreneurial spirit in a targeted manner when promoting regional high-quality economic development.Finally,combined with the findings of this paper,relevant suggestions are proposed to improve regional entrepreneurship and high-quality economic development.
