Research On The Current Situation Of The Professional Quality Of Housekeepers In Yuncheng City

With the rapid and high-quality development of my country’s economy,the consumption capacity of residents is constantly improving.With the implementation of the comprehensive three-child policy and the deepening of the aging population,people’s demand for diversified housekeeping services such as home care,rehabilitation care,childcare,cooking and cleaning has shown a rigid increase.However,in recent years,there have been frequent negative reports about domestic helpers,and the domestic service industry has accumulated more and more contradictions.The generally low professional quality of domestic helpers has become the main reason restricting the development of the domestic service industry.In order to improve the professional quality of domestic helpers and promote the steady development of the domestic service industry,this paper investigates the current situation of the professional quality of domestic helpers in Yuncheng.Based on the iceberg model theory,the professional quality of domestic helpers is divided into explicit professional quality and recessive professional quality.Explicit professionalism includes basic knowledge,professional knowledge and professional skills;implicit professionalism includes professional motivation,professional attitude and professional identity.Combined with the external environment and the current situation of professional quality of domestic helpers in Yuncheng City,the problems existing in the professional quality of domestic helpers are summarized.Using questionnaires and interviews to study the status quo of explicit professional quality of domestic helpers: good mastery of basic knowledge,low vocational skills,and insufficient mastery of professional knowledge.Through interviews with domestic helpers and employers to study the status quo of the implicit professionalism of domestic helpers: professional motivation is mostly external motivation,lack of professional identity,and improper professional attitude.In response to the problems found in the survey,the countermeasures to improve the current situation of the professional quality of domestic helpers are put forward from the perspectives of the government,enterprises,universities and individuals:macro-control by the government,overall planning of resources;active participation of enterprises and standardized management;expansion of enrollment in colleges and universities to improve quality;personal enhancement Identify,plan and develop.The purpose of this paper is to help improve the current situation of the low professional quality of domestic helpers in Yuncheng City,which is of reference significance for improving the vocational training of the housekeeping industry in the future,and has practical significance for improving the professional quality of domestic helpers.
