Public enterprises are the main providers of public services in China.Young employees are an indispensable element in the development of public enterprises.The quality of public services provided by public enterprises largely depends on the work enthusiasm of young employees of Public Enterprises.How to effectively motivate young employees to give full play to their talents in their respective posts and make greater contributions to the development of public enterprises and public services has become the focus of public enterprises.This paper takes the young employees of Y power supply company after the "power supply area transfer " as the research object to explore the possible problems in the incentive of young employees in public enterprises.First of all,through literature research,I have mastered the basic situation of Y power supply company and the existing incentive mechanism for young employees.Then,based on the relevant theory of motivation,through questionnaires and interviews,this paper investigates the incentive status of young employees in Y power supply company,systematically analyzes the problems of young employees in Y power supply company in terms of salary incentive,promotion incentive and environmental incentive,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.The study found that young employees’ motivation in public enterprises is prone to neglect of young employees’ motivation,lack of flexibility in incentive methods,and lack of systematicness in incentive mechanism.The specific manifestations are:poor pertinence of incentive means,weakening of performance appraisal effect,lack of career planning,lack of promotion motivation,weak interpersonal relationship,etc.Using the content-based incentive theory and the process based incentive theory,the reasons are summarized as follows: the incentive content is single,the incentive is lack of fairness,the promotion channel is limited,and the incentive and demand are mismatched.This paper believes that we should regularly understand the needs of young employees,establish a fair and just performance system,improve the training system,pay attention to career planning,and create a harmonious working atmosphere,Help public enterprises improve the work enthusiasm of young employees,so as to improve the quality of public goods and services.
