With the progress of social economy and the improvement of people’s life,enterprise employees,particularly those with a high educational background,high independence and high sense of achievements,have higher expectations on the work they are engaged in,which means achieving the work-related wellbeing.Researches show that to improve employees’ work-related well-being plays a positive role in the organization’s work performance.However,many enterprises pay attention to the enhancement of rigid indexes only such as the job performance instead of the soft indexes of the employees,particularly the knowledge employees.The above leads to not only the slow enhancement of enterprise’s production efficiency but also a higher turnover intention of knowledge employees,which finally weakens enterprise’s core competence.Z Company is a diversified company specialized in TCM manufacturing business.In recent years,the company’s some highly educated and certain working experience employees start to seek further development in the cities nearby such as Guangzhou,Shenzhen,Zhuhai,etc.Causing brain drain of knowledge-based employees.The situation above finally exerts certain influence on the company’s development.How to retain these employees has become the company’s big concern at present.It was discovered along with the progress of research that the knowledge-based employees generally pose high demands on work happiness.They will be more satisfied with the company and have higher sense of belonging by improving the work happiness.Therefore,discussing the promotion strategy of happiness at work can be regarded as a beneficial attempt for Z Company to reduce the loss of knowledge workers.By taking Z Company’s knowledge-based employees as the research objects,the company’s realities on the work happiness of knowledge-based employees were analyzed in this paper by through such forms as individual interviews,questionnaires,etc.so as to find the factors that dominate the workrelated well-being of Z Company’s knowledge-based employees and analyze the main problems discovered.Among all the problems discovered,the first is the unsafe sense and pressure caused by organization reform.The second is the unclear occupational development planning.The third is the incomplete remuneration management system.The fourth is the company’s lack of efforts in cultivating a favorable interpersonal relationship atmosphere.The fifth is the guiding effect of corporate culture not strong.Based above,some countermeasures and suggestions for improving the work happiness of Z Company’s knowledge-based employees were brought forth,including: first,optimize the way of organizational change;second,laying emphasis on the occupational career planning of knowledge-based employees;third,improve the salary and welfare guarantee of knowledge workers;fourth,assisting the knowledge-based employees in establishing favorable interpersonal relationship;fifth,cultivating the happiness-oriented corporate culture.It is expected that this paper can provide help for Z company to improve the Work-related well-being of knowledge employees,and also provide useful reference for other enterprises to improve the work-related Well-being of Knowledge employees.
