Human resource management has always existed along with the birth of enterprises and is one of the most important aspects in the development of enterprises.In the increasingly fierce competition,the competition for talent always plays an important role.How to attract good new employees to join and retain good old employees can be helped by reasonable incentive measures to carry out talent plan.Motivation is a common and important management method in enterprise human resource management,which can correctly guide and correct employees’ working behavior,create a positive and active working atmosphere,fully stimulate employees’ enthusiasm,and motivate them to complete their work tasks with positive working attitude.This is not only beneficial for the enterprise to break through new business targets,but also for the employees to break through themselves,improve their abilities and achieve their life goals.Department store operation managers are the key responsible persons in the shopping malls,with diverse responsibilities and heavy workloads,and need to deal with many temporary and unknown situations that occur in time.They are the bridge between the shopping mall site and the corporate leadership.The purpose of this paper is to improve the research based on the motivation theory and combined with the current situation of the motivation measures of the operation managers in Nanning SJ department store.Based on the demestic and foreign research and the study of related motivational literature in China’s department store industry,we found the following shortcomings in the motivational measures of operational managers in Nanning SJ department store:the current salary management does not meet the needs of operational managers;the current performance management is not comprehensive enough;the physiological and social needs of operational managers are not given enough attention;and the motivational measures of operational managers are not sufficient to meet the needs of operational managers.The current compensation management does not meet the needs of operation managers;the current performance management is not comprehensive;the physical and social needs of operation managers are not given enough attention;and the professional growth of operation managers is not given enough care.Therefore,in view of the above problems,we propose the following suggestions to improve the incentive measures: improve the working environment;improve the promotion assessment system;strengthen the communication and feedback of performance management;optimize the salary structure plan and enrich the welfare benefits;pay attention to the guidance of employees’ career planning and investment in future growth;emphasize the construction of corporate culture,enhance employees’ sense of belonging to the company,pay attention to the humanistic care of operation managers,and reduce the degree of talent turnover.To reduce the degree of brain drain by emphasizing the construction of corporate culture,enhancing employees’ sense of belonging to the company,and attaching importance to humanistic care for operation managers.In the process of improving incentive measures,we should pay attention to organization guarantee,capital guarantee and risk prevention.The motivation of operation managers is especially important in the human resource-intensive department store industry.This paper is the first study on the improvement of the incentive measures for the operation managers of Nanning SJ department store,and the proposed optimization suggestions will help the company to manage its human resources more efficiently,and partly apply to other sub-department stores under the same M Group.Creates a good incentive environment together,so that the operation managers will be more closely connected with the company,and create more work for the company with great enthusiasm and solid professional skills.to create more value for the company with great enthusiasm and solid professional skills.
