| As digital transformation advances,the Internet,cloud computing,Internet of Things,big data,blockchain,and other information technologies have become more popular.IT talents,the core technology staff of commercial banks,often have such skills as software development and testing,and project management,with good knowledge of finance,economy,and banking.The safe and stable operations of information systems,risk control of infrastructure,network security,and product updates of a commercial bank directly relies on IT talents.Bank A is a small and medium-sized urban commercial bank which has suffered a heavy loss of information technology staff in the past five years.It’s imperative for Bank A to investigate the underlying causes of talent loss and control such loss.This paper conducted an empirical study on Bank A to investigate internal,external and individual factors through literature review,field research,surveys and interviews.The following solutions were provided.At the internal level,Bank A must improve its salary and performance appraisal system,create a professional promotion channel,optimize the internal responsibility system,establish the staff turnover early warning mechanism,and enhance the staff turnover control mechanism.At the external level,the Bank must upgrade the hard power of its private brand and soft power of its regional brand,actively explore digital transformation,so as to enhance its competitiveness.At the individual level,it must pay attention to the loyalty assessment of employees,their personalized needs,and degree of satisfaction.The research results of this thesis provided practical solutions for A Bank to reduce the loss of IT talents,and reference for the proprietors and human resource managers of the same type of urban commercial banks in the management of IT talents. |
