Today,with the rapid development of the Internet economy,third-party payment has become a new trend of payment,which is directly related to the management and development of commercial banks.Third-party payment institutions have accumulated a large amount of user data and materials,and forced commercial banks to change their own operation mode by upgrading and innovating the service content and service quality,so as to establish a collaborative,competitive and symbiotic development pattern with third-party payment institutions.This thesis briefly discusses the third party payment business model,income source,the concept of business performance and evaluation methods of commercial banks,and on this basis,combs the relevant literature at home and abroad,which lays a theoretical basis for the analysis of the following.Secondly,based on the current situation of third-party payment in China,this thesis analyzes the impact mechanism of third-party payment on the performance of commercial banks,and deeply discusses the impact of third-party payment on liability business,asset business and intermediary business of commercial banks.At the same time,this thesis adopts factor analysis method to construct a set of comprehensive evaluation indicators of business performance based on fixed effect panel model,and carries out empirical analysis on the operating performance of five listed commercial banks,including China Merchants Bank,Shanghai Pudong Development Bank,Industrial Bank,China Minsheng Bank and China Citic Bank.The results show that the scale of third-party payment has a significant negative effect on the performance indicators of commercial banks,and the development of third-party payment has a greater impact on the security and development capacity factors than the liquidity and profitability factors.Then,combined with the concrete example of Industrial Bank,this thesis expounds the management strategy of Societe Generale in order to deal with the impact of the wave of third-party payment,to create the "silver platform",to launch the management strategy of "big money shopkeeper" and to develop the three brand name cards of "investment bank,wealth,green",and to analyze its management performance.Finally,combining the empirical and case analysis situation,points out that the impact of third-party payment,Chinese commercial Banks should change challenges as opportunity,accelerate the innovation of intermediate business service,further change the management mode,active and third-party payment institutions for cross-border cooperation,further expand business network,by improving service convenience,optimize user experience,improve customer engagement,enhance their core competitiveness,to promote commercial Banks achieve business performance.
