The Research Of Cruise Industry Cooperation Path For Countries Around The South China Sea

The South China Sea is one of China’s three largest sea areas,where located in the west part of the Pacific Ocean and the south part of the Chinese mainland plate.The West is the Sino Indian peninsula.The East is Taiwan region and the northwest of Philippines.The south is surrounding with Borneo,Sumatra and Ban Gabeleton islands.The total sea area is about 3.5 million m2.It is surrounded by nine countries from north to South and from west to East,including China,Vietnam,Thailand,Cambodia,Malaysia,Singapore,Indonesia,Brunei Darussalam and Philippines.Based on its important strategy and transportation location,the multilateral cooperation in tourism,culture,education,economy and trade among surrounding countries is particularly important.As the largest economy in the region,China shoulders the important responsibility to lead and promote comprehensive regional cooperation and ensure regional security.As an important part of marine economy,the cruise industry not only a good medium for promoting cultural exchanges,economic development and crossborder cooperation among countries around the South China Sea,but also an important pillar for promoting national infrastructure construction and ensuring public safety in the sea area.Based on the current complex international situation with the important strategic and economic role of the South China Sea,the win-win collabration of cruise industry among regional countries has become particularly important.This research paper based on symbiosis theory and regional cooperative theory in which plans to start with the current development research of the cruise industry in the nine countries around the South China Sea.The author adopt the qualitative research methods through the the study of enterprises,organizations and institutions towards to the cruise industry,which combined with the current regional political and economic situation,it is found that there are some issues in the current regional cruise industry cooperation,such as insufficient human resources,unbalanced reginoal economic and infrastructure development,imperfect development of cruise industrial chain,insufficiency regional political mutual trust as well as the sea area operation safety.Regarding the above issues,this paper attempts to explore practical methods and paths for regional cruise industry cooperation around the South China Sea.
