Research On Caterpillar(Qingzhou) Ltd. FAST Corporate Culture Construction Project Management

Corporate culture is an advanced management culture,it is the soul of enterprise development.The effective corporate culture construction could improve the core competitiveness of enterprises and facilitate the healthy and long term development of enterprises.Various problems will be encountered during the process of corporate culture construction,which may affect the actual effect of corporate culture.Through the usage of project management methods and theories,all the work involved in the project could be managed effectively under the constraints of limited resources,which could bring multiple effects and results on solving major and complex problems.In view of this,it is an effective method to consider the construction of corporate culture as a project and introduce the concept of project management into the implementation process.At present,many scholars have done a lot of research on project management and corporate culture construction,but only few studied the application of project management in corporate culture.Therefore,this thesis attempts to apply the concepts and methods of project management to the construction of corporate culture through the investigation,analysis and research of relevant theories,and tries to combine the characteristics of project management with the construction of corporate culture by implementation of project management.This thesis takes the FAST corporate culture construction of Caterpillar(Qingzhou)Ltd.as the research object.First,by using the method of literature research,collected and sorted out the materials and documents of Caterpillar(Qingzhou)Ltd.and its corporate culture through collecting electronic documents,borrowing company materials and in-depth communication with employees,and forming the overall impression and general frame structure.The theoretical foundation of this thesis is established by accumulating relevant theory knowledge about corporate culture,project management,relationship and study cases of corporate culture and project management from internet and library.Secondly,based on the theoretical knowledge,a questionnaire was designed with reference to current situation of corporate culture of Caterpillar(Qingzhou)Ltd.The questionnaire survey was conducted with the support and help of company leaders,the samples were investigated and deep communication was completed with some employees.Through the collection,summarization and analysis of the survey data,it was found that current corporate culture had some problems including ignoring the real customer requirements,complicated process leading to slow decision-making and low efficiency,lack of responsibility and engagement,lack of executable specific actions,lack of self-identity and its own characteristics and lack of culture performance evaluation and assessment.Finally,by using the professional tools and methods of project management,the possibility and necessity of FAST corporate culture of Caterpillar(Qingzhou)Ltd.were discussed and verified based on project management.The improvement plan and solutions of FAST corporate culture construction were proposed and divided into project launch,planning,implementation,monitoring and closure phases,which would be helpful for the effective construction of Caterpillar(Qingzhou)Ltd.FAST corporate culture.The research and study of this thesis could help to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of FAST corporate culture construction of Caterpillar(Qingzhou)Ltd.,achieve the scientific management of this project and improve the operation management,working thoughts and behaviors of employees,it plays an important role to ensure the maximization of corporate profit and achievements of strategic development.
