| Under the background of high integration of global economy,international product production is also divided into multiple stages.According to the comparative advantages of different countries,production activities are distributed in different countries.Due to this production characteristic,the product value-added process is also connected by multiple value-added links,which forms the global value chain known today.Since the reform and opening up,China has actively integrated into the world economy and played its own advantages in the global value chain.As the mainstay of China’s economy,manufacturing industry has also achieved corresponding development under China’s embedding into the global value chain.Global value chain embedding can promote the improvement of manufacturing innovation efficiency through the conduction of related industries,competition,large market and talents,but can also inhibit the development of innovation efficiency through the conduction of innovation substitution,technology blockade and vicious competition.In recent years,China has paid more and more attention to the development of manufacturing industry.We should strive to achieve the optimal allocation of resources and vigorously promote the innovation efficiency of China’s manufacturing industry.However,with the intensification of trade friction and the recession of the global economy,the stability of the global value chain is also affected.As a deep embeddedness of the global value chain,China’s manufacturing industry is also deeply affected.Therefore,in-depth exploration of the specific impact of global value chain embedding on the innovation efficiency of China’s manufacturing industry is of great significance to promote the development of China’s manufacturing industry and resist the unstable factors of global value chain transmission.From this research perspective,this thesis has carried out the following work:Firstly,based on the new trade theory,this thesis analyzes the transmission mechanism of the promotion and inhibition of global value chain embedding on manufacturing innovation efficiency,further studies the heterogeneous impact of global value chain embedding on manufacturing innovation efficiency in different industries,and selects three dimensions: technology type,factor intensity and scale,Clarify the transmission path of global value chain embedding to different industries.Secondly,using adb-mrio database,this thesis calculates the global value chain participation index of 14 sub industries of China’s manufacturing industry,and uses this index to measure the embedding of global value chain.Based on the data of China Science and technology statistical yearbook,China Industrial statistical yearbook,China Statistical Yearbook and the National Bureau of statistics,this paper uses DEA method to calculate the innovation efficiency of manufacturing industry.The calculation results show that the innovation efficiency of some industries in China’s manufacturing industry is seriously polarized,and the industries with excellent performance are innovative and effective in the years studied in this paper,In the industry with severe situation,up to88% of the years of innovation are invalid.Thirdly,this thesis establishes an empirical model to empirically study the impact of global value chain embedding on China’s manufacturing innovation efficiency.The results show that there is a significant negative correlation between the two,which shows that the negative transmission effect of global value chain embedding prevails and hinders the innovation efficiency of manufacturing industry.In addition,this paper selects the same division caliber as the theoretical analysis,and empirically studies the impact of global value chain embedding on different industries through the heterogeneity test.The results show that the negative impact of global value chain embedding on low-tech industries,labor-intensive industries and large-scale industries is deeper.Finally,based on the research results,this thesis gives relevant policy suggestions,from the macro and micro levels,effectively mobilize synergy and cooperation,strengthen their own core values,and seek the way of innovation efficiency development. |
