Abstract/Summary:
At the Central Economic Work Conference on December 10,2021,Premier Li Keqian g concluded that China’s current economy is facing the problems of shortage of talent dem and, contraction of market demand, and gradual decline in market supply and expectations, and further emphasized the importance of sustainable high-quality economic development. In order to maintain the economic foundation,it is necessary to guide and strengthen the s upport of financial institutions for the real economy such as small and medium-sized enter prises and vulnerable social groups, and deepen scientific and technological innovation and green development through the financial industry. To apply the concept of "multilateralism" to economic support between regions and provinces,we must pay attention to the develo pment of digital inclusive finance. With the help of digital technology, digital inclusive fina nce has weakened regional boundaries, expanded regional relevance, improved the develop ment efficiency of inclusive finance, and provided new ways and ideas for improving total factor productivity to promote high-quality development.Due to the vast territory of Chin a,the total amount of economic development in various urban areas is different, and the lev el of total factor productivity in cities is even more irregular. Therefore, how to develop the economies of various regions with high quality and how to provide assistance through digi tal financial inclusion have become the main content of this article.Based on the above background, this thesis firstly clarifies the internal mechanism of digital financial inclusion affecting urban total factor productivity through theoretical analy sis,and further describes the development status of digital inclusive finance and urban total factor productivity;Balanced panel data, starting from a spatial perspective to study the de velopment level of digital inclusive finance in these prefecture-level cities and the spatial s pillover effects of its three sub-dimensions on total factor productivity. The level of financi al development and the level of urban total factors both show a positive clustering of "high-high" and "low-low" at the spatial level;second, the development of digital inclusive finan ce will be promoted through direct effects, indirect effects and spatial effects. The level of t otal factor productivity in the local and surrounding areas, and the degree of influence of it s sub-indexes is ranked as coverage breadth, depth of use,and degree of digitization, and th e latter two are the main reasons for the difference in the overall index’s local and surround ing area influence coefficients.Third, the development of digital inclusive finance has a sig nificant positive spillover effect on urban total factor productivity at the spatial level;fourt h,the level of infrastructure, urbanization rate, science and education expenditure, and Inte rnet penetration can significantly promote urban total factor productivity at the spatial leve l.productivity, while the local effect of the level of government intervention is positive and the surrounding area effect is negative.Fifth, the impact of digital financial inclusion on th e total factor level of cities does have nonlinear characteristics, whether it is the overall city or the data of eastern, central and western cities.Based on the above conclusions,in order to improve the total factor productivity of C hinese cities this thesis summarizes the following suggestions: First, vigorously develop f inancial technology and actively promote the digital transformation of financial developme nt;The role of inclusive finance in the development;the third is to deepen and improve the infrastructure, urbanization rate, science and education expenditure, and Internet penetratio n among regions to create an innovative atmosphere for urban development;the fourth is t o carry out exploratory digital inclusive finance enhancements for cities in different map se ctors,to promote the "Internet +" and inclusive finance to achieve the same frequency reso nance, and to break the "digital divide that restricts the development of total factor producti vity.
