Research On Evaluation Of Pet Food Enterprise Under The Pet Economy

The transformation of the relationship between pets and humans has promoted the emergence and development of the pet economy.Under the background of pet economy,pet food enterprises in China have entered a stage of rapid development and received more and more attention from the capital market.However,previous researches on pet food enterprise valuation are very insufficient.At the same time,the pet food enterprises in China under the pet economy have the characteristics of late start time,insufficient historical data,fast growth rate and so on,which also bring difficulties to the research on the evaluation of pet food enterprises.Therefore,it is particularly important to explore the establishment of a scientific and reasonable pet food enterprise value evaluation model in line with the characteristics of pet food enterprises under the pet economy.First of all,based on existing studies,this thesis summarizes the applicability of various prediction methods to evaluate the pet food enterprise value in the pet economy.Based on the characteristics of pet food enterprises,such as fewer comparable companies,fast growth rate and great potential for future development,income method was selected as the evaluation method of pet food enterprises under the pet economy.Second,this thesis analyzes the development status and macro environment of pet food industry under the pet economy,and also studies the characteristics of pet food enterprises under the pet economy,as well as the difficulties in the process of enterprise value evaluation.Then,this thesis analyzes the applicability of each prediction method to the business revenue forecast of pet food enterprises in the pet economy.Considering that pet food enterprises show short-term non-linear growth in operating income and the advantages of support vector machine model in small sample and nonlinear prediction,the support vector machine model is built to predict the operating income of pet food enterprises,and the free cash flow discount model is built to evaluate the value of pet food enterprises.Finally,this thesis selects Zhongchong stock for case analysis,and evaluates its enterprise value by using free cash flow discount model based on support vector machine.And the discounted free cash flow model based on grey prediction is used for comparative validation analysis.Based on the above case analysis,the applicability and stability of the free cash flow discount model based on support vector machine in evaluating the value of pet food enterprises are judged.Through research,this thesis finds that the support vector machine model can not only solve the difficulty of predicting the pet food enterprise’s operating income with small data volume and nonlinear growth,but also predict its future operating income level from the perspective of the decisive factors of operating income.The prediction result is more scientific and reasonable,and the enterprise value evaluation based on it is more accurate.Therefore,the free cash flow discount model based on support vector machine has good applicability to evaluate the value of pet food enterprises.The evaluation results provide value reference for investors,and the evaluation method also provides a new idea for the research on the value evaluation of pet food enterprises.Through research,this thesis finds that the support vector machine model can not only solve the difficulty of predicting the pet food enterprise’s operating income with small data volume and nonlinear growth,but also predict its future operating income level from the perspective of the decisive factors of operating income.The prediction result is more scientific and reasonable,and the enterprise value evaluation based on it is more accurate.Therefore,the free cash flow discount model based on support vector machine has good applicability to evaluate the value of pet food enterprises.The evaluation results provide value reference for investors,and the evaluation method also provides a new idea for the research on the value evaluation of pet food enterprises.
