Abstract/Summary:
Since 2018,the scale of Sino-US trade frictions has continued to expand,sanctions and counter-sanctions by both sides have been escalated,and the United States has increased its blockade and restrictions on Chinese high-tech enterprises.In the Huawei incident,the more critical essence is that in order to maintain its leading position in the high-tech industry,the United States not only restricts the development of Chinese companies from an economic perspective through the "tariff war",but also targets Huawei through the "technical war".The mastered5 G communication technology will be suppressed.Both the ZTE incident and the Huawei incident are a microcosm of the Sino-US trade friction.Such incidents more reflect the competition between China and the United States for discourse dominance in the core areas of high-tech in the future.With the continuous updating of China’s technology and the continuous upgrading of its industry,these constraints and challenges will inevitably be unavoidable for the United States to maintain its leadership in the technology field.As the leader of Chinese high-tech enterprises,Huawei researches its development strategy under the restriction of the US entity list system,and summarizes the impact of Huawei’s sanctions and countermeasures.political sanctions provide valuable experience.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the current development background of the smartphone market and Huawei’s performance before and after being restricted by the US Entity List,and summarizes the theoretical and practical significance of the research in this paper.This paper summarizes the existing literature from three aspects: the US entity list system,Huawei’s mobile phone supply chain construction,and Huawei’s mobile phone export strategy,and proposes the research content and innovations of this paper.The second part is an introduction to the US entity list system and the development history of Huawei mobile phones,introducing the main content of the entity list system and the process of sanctions against Huawei;and the main stages of Huawei mobile phone development.The third part is the impact of the US entity list system on Huawei’s mobile phone business,mainly including the analysis of Huawei’s mobile phone performance in the global market,mobile phone supply chain,and mobile phone product portfolio.The fourth part analyzes Huawei from the four dimensions of environmental stability,industrial advantages,financial advantages,and competitive advantages through the SPACE matrix,and determines that Huawei mobile phones should adopt defensive strategies under the restrictions of the entity list.The fifth part,based on the STV model,puts forward an outlook on the adjustment of Huawei’s mobile phone layout from three levels of strategy,tactics and value.It is believed that at the strategic level,Huawei’s mobile phone business should adopt a centralized strategy.In the selection of market segments,attention should be paid to countries and regions that are less affected by political and technological factors,especially China,where the current political environment is relatively friendly to Huawei mobile phones.Mainland and Russian markets.At the tactical level,it conducts marketing to overseas markets through its own unique operator channels;it improves an independent and complete Hongmeng ecosystem.At the value level,maintain the brand image of national enterprises through advertising and insisting on independent innovation.
