In the context of the continuous acceleration of the development process of global integration,the continuous transformation of new and old kinetic energy,and the coordination of normalized epidemic prevention and control and economic development,investment promotion,as a powerful engine for local governments to promote economic growth,has continued to play an important role in economic development.Investment promotion mainly enriches the types of local industries by introducing foreign industries,increases local capital investment,promotes the continuous improvement of the level of industrialization development,and then rationally optimizes the local industrial structure and enhances the level and strength of local economic development.Under the new situation of promoting economic development,the central,provincial and municipal governments have adopted multiple measures to promote higher-level investment promotion.Industrial agglomeration is one of the goals that local governments intend to achieve in attracting investment.It is also a regional phenomenon with representative and important research value in the current global economic development.It is also an important path for industrial development in underdeveloped areas in my country.Industrial agglomeration can maximize the integration of advantageous resources and industrial elements within the domain,help upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain to conduct specialized division of labor,and better utilize the advantages of economies of scale,thereby promoting the reduction of production costs of enterprises and the improvement of production efficiency.Therefore,it has become a local government.An important starting point for promoting local economic development through investment promotion.How to explore a scientific development model and operation mechanism suitable for the local area through investment promotion in the underdeveloped areas in the west,take the development of characteristic industrial agglomeration as the main line,cultivate characteristic agglomeration economy,and promote the traditional county economy to a new type of characteristic development,green development,and high-quality development The transformation of county economy is an issue worth exploring.This paper starts from expounding the concepts and theories related to investment attraction and industrial agglomeration,taking Z county as a representative of the underdeveloped areas in the west,and using literature research methods,survey research methods and experience summarization methods to study this topic.Firstly,the economic development,industrial carrier,resource endowment,and industrial agglomeration level of Z County were analyzed by consulting relevant data;Based on data such as efficiency,we have sorted out some deficiencies in the investment promotion of industrial agglomeration in Z county,namely,the traditional investment promotion model,the investment environment needs to be improved,the industrial chain investment promotion effect is insufficient,and the investment promotion innovation methods are not enough.On this basis,from the perspective of industrial agglomeration,the reasons for the problem of investment promotion in Z county are analyzed,mainly including the lack of top-level design for industrial agglomeration,the inadequate transformation of government investment promotion functions,the weak industrial agglomeration effect,and the low level of specialization in investment promotion.Finally,on the basis of summarizing and refining the advanced experience of investment promotion in industrial agglomeration areas at home and abroad,it is proposed to do a good job in the top-level design of investment promotion,transform the government’s investment promotion function,strengthen the precise investment promotion of the industrial chain,and improve the professional level of investment promotion.corresponding countermeasures.Through the above measures,we will carry out investment promotion with the goal of achieving high-quality industrial agglomeration,build industrial clusters and release the agglomeration effect,and provide a certain reference for governments in underdeveloped areas to develop industrial agglomeration.
