| For a long time,many enterprises attach too much importance to their own economic benefits,but seriously neglect the pollution and waste of resources in the process of production and operation.In recent years,the government has paid more and more attention to the environmental problems,and green development has become the only way for the sustainable and healthy development of enterprises.Managers are able to make decisions about the strategy and direction of the business,and the different leadership styles they display will have different guiding effects on the development of the business,managers who implement green transformational leadership attach importance to the impact of corporate activities on the natural environment,and urge enterprises to actively fulfill their environmental responsibilities and create a green development organizational culture throughout the organization,encourage the members of the entire organization to carry out green innovation,reduce the waste and excessive use of resources,so that enterprises have a higher level of competitive advantage and performance.Many scholars focus on the study of the impact of the leader on the individual level,but few study on the impact of the green transformational leadership on the organizational level.On the other hand,the existing research focuses on the impact of innovation on enterprises from the perspective of traditional innovation,and it is necessary to study the impact of green innovation on the performance of enterprises in the context of the national promotion of green development.Therefore,based on the resource-based theory,innovation theory and porter hypothesis,this paper studies the relationship between green transformational leadership and corporate performance.Through literature review and theoretical analysis,this paper constructs a theoretical model with green transformational leadership as the independent variable,green innovation as the intermediary variable,environmental regulation as the regulatory variable,and enterprise performance as the dependent variable.This paper is based on the data collected by questionnaire survey method,using related statistical analysis software such as SPSS24.0 to test the hypothesis proposed in this paper.This paper draws the following conclusions through empirical research: green transformational leadership positively affects corporate performance,and managers implementing green transformational leadership can improve corporate financial performance and environmental performance.Green transformational leadership has a positive impact on green innovation,showing that managers with green transformational leadership style create an organizational culture of "environmental protection" and "green development" within the organization,which exerts a subtle influence on the members of the organization,enable them to actively improve or create environmentally friendly green products or processes to reduce environmental damage.Green innovation can positively affect enterprise performance.Green innovation makes its products and processes "green" and more likely to win the favor of consumers,thus enhancing competitiveness and financial performance.While implementing green innovation,enterprises will find ways to reduce pollution emission,reduce the negative externalities of environment and improve the performance of environment.Environmental regulation regulates the relationship between green transformational leadership and green innovation in the form of institutional constraints and policy support.To sum up,this study enriches the study of green transformational leadership on corporate performance,proposes that green innovation plays an intermediary role between green transformational leadership and corporate performance,and explores its transmission mechanism,to explore a new path for the improvement of enterprise performance.This paper broadens the regulatory role of environmental regulation between green transformational leadership and green innovation,and helps the government to continuously improve its environmental regulation policy,enterprises should pay attention to the important influence of government’s environmental regulation on enterprises’ production and management,so as to build their unique competitive advantage through green innovation. |
