The Belt and Road initiative is the largest economic corridor spanning 64 countries in Europe,Asia and Africa.It not only encourages more and more Chinese enterprises to "go global",but also makes it easier for China to invest in countries along the Belt and Road routes,with soaring foreign direct investment.As for China’s investment research in countries along the"One Belt and One Road" route,many domestic scholars have studied their investment motivation,location choice and development opportunities.With the advancement of "the Belt and Road"construction,China’s investment in countries along the route is increasing,some scholars have noticed the investment risk,and the research results are generally a specific research on a risk type in countries along the ""One Belt and One Road",or to evaluate the overall risk but adjust the weight for the actual situation in China.Therefore,this article first studies the current situation,characteristics and risks of direct investment along the "Belt and Road",and uses the ICRG risk assessment to comprehensively analyze the investment risks of countries along the routes,including political risk,economic risk and financial risk score.After obtaining the data,the expert scoring method is adopted to incorporate the views of domestic experts into the existing data,and then the AHP method is used to determine the weight of the first,second and third level indicators,and combined with the original data of ICRG from 2008 to January 2020,the risk index of the 50 countries and regions is calculated.The conclusion is practical: Singapore and Brunei have very low comprehensive risks and constitute Normal area;Countries with low comprehensive risk represented by the United Arab Emirates,Oman and Kuwait,and countries with moderate comprehensive risk represented by Cyprus,Azerbaijan and Slovakia constitute prevention areas,A total of 35 units;Countries with high composite risk,represented by Serbia,Egypt and Sri Lanka,constitute alert areas,A total of 13 units;And on this basis,From the perspective of the government and the enterprise,respectively,relevant suggestions are given on China’s direct investment in countries along the "One Belt and One Road".
