Study On The Spatial Pattern And Influencing Factors Of New Growth Drivers In The Yangtze River Economic Belt

Nowadays,the economic development of our country has changed from a highspeed stage to a high-quality stage."New Kinetic Energy" plays a vital role in promoting high-quality development.The region of the Yangtze River Economic Belt(YREB)is not only a pioneer area to promote the formation of complementary advantages and high-quality development in China,but also an innovation driving belt for cultivating new kinetic energy and leading transformation and development.Focusing on the region of the YREB,this paper firstly measures and analyzes the development level of its new economic kinetic energy,and then fully knowledges its development status and regional differences,and quantitatively analyzes the influencing factors of the development of new economic kinetic energy in the YREB.This has certain guiding significance for promoting the development of YREB’s new economic kinetic energy and thus promoting high-quality regional development.Based on the connotation of new kinetic energy and synthesizing the achievements of relevant research scholars,this paper constructs an evaluation system for the development level of new economic kinetic energy in the YREB from the following aspects: Scientific and technological innovation,Public life,0pening up,Digital economy and Green development.Then,the method of analytic hierarchy and the improved panel data entropy are combined into a comprehensive evaluation method through multiplicative integration method.In this way,based on the panel data of the YREB from 2013 to 2019,this paper measures the comprehensive index of the new economic kinetic energy development level,analyze its change characteristics from time and space.Later,spatial correlation analysis was used to explore its spatial correlation and agglomeration.Next,this paper continued to explore its drivers by the spatial econometric model.Finally,some suggestions were made in this regard.Through a series of analyses,the research conclusions can be summarized as follows:(1)In the evaluation index system,the digital economy level has the largest weight,which shows that its impact on the development of new economic energy plays a crucial role.(2)From 2013 to 2019,the development level of the new economic kinetic energy in the YREB showed a slow upward trend on the whole,with most provinces and cities in the upward phase,and a few provinces and cities in the downward trend.It also has clear regional differences.(3)The YREB’s development of new economic kinetic energy has significant spatial positive autocorrelation and obvious spatial agglomeration in the region.(4)In all explanatory variables,that have a significant impact on the development of new economic energy in the YREB are ‘Disposable income of residents’,‘Investment’,’ GDP per capita’,’ Industrial structure’ and’ Government expenditure’.Among them,the regression coefficient of government intervention is the largest,which indicates that it has the greatest promotion to new economic energy in the region.But,the impact of ‘Human capital’ is not obvious.At last,the policy recommendations can be made to promote the development of new economic kinetic energy:(1)Vigorously focus on the development of the digital economy;(2)Strengthen regional cooperation and exchange;(3)Promote balanced regional development;(4)Increase government support.
