| The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor(CPEC)was first proposed in 2013 and officially launched in 2015.Since then, the CPEC has entered an all-round development stage.During the first phase of the CPEC,the infrastructure has been basically improved and the energy shortage has been greatly alleviated. At present, the china-Pakistan Economic Corridor is in its second phase, and the cooperation between China and Pakistan focuses on agriculture, manufacturing and industrial park construction.Pakistan is in the early stage of industrialization with weak industrial base and low labor cost.Just as China is in the stage of industrial restructuring, the transfer of domestic marginal industries will help promote Pakistan’s industrialization process and Also help China adjust its industrial structure.Based on the above background, this paper studies the issue of Pakistan accepting China’s industria-transfer.This paper is divided into six parts. The first part is introduction and related theories. This paper expounds the research background and significance of China-Pakistan industrial transfer, sorts out the research ideas and content of this paper, introduces the innovation points and relevant theories of this paper, and sorts out the relevant literature. The second part is the mechanism of industrial transfer between China and Pakistan. This part studies the mechanism of industrial transfer in China and Pakistan based on the push-pull theory by summarizing the influential factors of relevant scholars. The third part is to study whether there is an obvious potential difference or gradient between China and Pakistan. In this part, the index system of development potential of industrial transfer in China and Pakistan is firstly constructed, which includes 24 secondary indicators. The subjective weighting method(AHP)and objective weighting method(entropy weighting method)are used to assign weights to the indicators, and the industrialization level of China and Pakistan from 2006 to 2019 is estimated.Secondly, based on the industrial structure similarity index improved by Fan Fuzhuo, the gravity model is constructed to measure the capacity of Pakistan to undertake The industrial transfer from China. The fourth part is the industrial selection and spatial layout of Pakistan to undertake China’s industrial transfer. The paper calculates the industrial competitiveness and explicit comparative advantage of China and Pakistan from the industry level to study the industry choice in the industrial transfer between China and Pakistan.Combined with the resource endowment of Pakistan and the construction of special economic zones, the possible spatial distribution of Pakistan to accept the transfer of Chinese industries is analyzed. The fifth part is the docking analysis of China-Pakistan industrial transfer. This paper expounds the docking behavior of The Pakistani government, and takes Rashakaye Special Economic Zone as an example to analyze; The sixth part is divided into the main conclusions and prospects.Based on the above analysis, the main conclusions of this paper are as follows: Through the analysis of the mechanism of industrial transfer between China and Pakistan,it is concluded that there are two conditions for the occurrence of industrial transfer between China and Pakistan.First, there is an obvious gradient;second, there are channels for industrial docking. The results show that Pakistan is in the early stage of industrialization, while China is in the late stage of industrialization. In addition,Pakistan has the ability to undertake China’s industrial transfer, meeting the first condition of industrial transfer.Through consulting a large number of documents, this paper analyzes the industrial layout of Pakistan, and the result shows that Pakistan should mainly undertake China’s labor-intensive industries such as textile industry and clothing industry and capital intensive industries such as electro mechanical, communication and electronic equipment. On the analysis of Pakistan and special economic zones, geographical layout of factor endowments, found that Pakistan and the spatial distribution of labor force in industrial spatial layout is consistent, all present the pattern of "east, missy hydrophobic",so the author believes should be the leading industry of the special economic zones, the internal division Pakistan’s industry layout, distributed mainly in predominantly eastern economic zone. Finally based on the experience of the special economic zones in China, put forward in special economic zones as the carrier of gradient docking mode, industry chain extension mode and corporate mode of mutual aid, also analyzed the both countries government role in the industrial relocation, think between China and Pakistan industry shift docking channels, meet the industrial transfer of the second condition,China and Pakistan is feasible for industry transfer. |
