Among farmers’ professional cooperatives,vegetable professional cooperatives are a very important part.Through the establishment of vegetable professional cooperatives,we not only help to further improve the overall quality and economic benefits of vegetable farmers,and reduce risks,but also help to make Vegetable farmers can better adapt to the market,promote agricultural development,and accelerate the pace of rural revitalization.However,at present,in the face of risks,vegetable professional cooperatives generally have relatively low coping capabilities,and there is still a lack of risk management.Therefore,how to accurately identify,effectively assess,analyze and manage risks becomes increasingly important.In this paper,starting from the characteristics and attributes of farmers’ cooperative economic organizations,through extensive literature collection and analysis,taking Shandong Weifang farmers’ professional cooperatives as the case object,and adopting the method of consulting experts who are proficient in the business of farmers’ cooperative economic organizations,Identify the various influencing factors of the risk of Shandong Weifang farmers professional cooperatives,and then construct a risk assessment index system,and then use quantitative research methods to carry out risk assessments for Shandong Weifang farmers professional cooperatives,and finally according to the results of risk identification and risk assessment.The risk prevention countermeasures of Weifang farmers’ professional cooperatives are expected to serve as a reference for the theoretical research and practical management of farmers’ cooperative economic organizations.Through the preliminary arrangement of the collected data,the vegetable professional cooperatives in Weifang City mainly have the following characteristics:uneven development of cooperative strength;large number of cooperatives;uneven distribution and other characteristics.After preliminary risk identification,26 risk factors affecting Weifang Vegetable Professional Cooperative were sorted out:execution level,supervision system,decision-making mechanism,decision-maker quality,decision-maker ability,decision-making information,degree of organizational perfection,degree of clarity of property rights,and credit risk sharing Mechanism,planting cost,degree of operation specification,crop pricing,market interest linkage mechanism,industry capital subsidy policy,land transfer and approval policy,environmental protection and ecological development policy,agricultural technology talent introduction policy,macroeconomic policy,agricultural cooperative planning policy,Supervision and prevention of crop diseases,environmental pollution,conditions for diagnosis and treatment of crop diseases,crop quality and safety,natural disasters,and introduction of crop planting technologies.And extracted five key risk variables:decision risk,system risk,market risk,policy risk and planting risk.The risk assessment of vegetable professional cooperatives was carried out by using the analytic hierarchy process and expert scoring method.Finally,based on the results of risk assessment and analysis,some suggestions for strengthening the risk prevention of vegetable cooperatives are put forward:perfect decision-making mechanism;perfect system mechanism;standardize market management;improve planting management level;perfect policy support.
