China has entered the "new normal" period, and the economic growth has gradually slowed down.Optimizing the industrial structure, changing the production mode, and finding new driving forces for economic development have become problems that China currently needs to solve.China urgently needs to transform from an extensive economy to an intensive economy based on efficiency and quality, and abandon the traditional high-polluting production model, and transform the traditional factors that promote the economy, such as labor and capital, into innovative factors such as technology, talent, and the market,so as to realize the economy Green transformation. To require the economy to develop towards green and sustainable development,it is necessary to focus on improving green total factor productivity,so how to promote the growth of green total factor productivity has become a key issue that needs to be solved urgently.Among the driving factors of green total factor productivity growth,OFDI reverse technology spillover is a very important key factor.Clarifying the relationship between OFDI reverse technology spillover and China’s green total factor productivity can make full use of the green productivity growth effect of OFDI reverse technology spillover in the new era,and promote the realization of green development goals.|Therefore, this article firstly analyzes the impact path of OFDI reverse technology spillover on green total factor productivity, and builds a model of the relationship between OFDI reverse technology spillover and green total factor productivity growth based on theory and mechanism analysis, then uses ML index to measure the greenness of 30 provinces in China.Total factor productivity, finally use the spatial Dubin model of double fixed effects for empirical analysis.Based on the empirical results, this article analyzes the spillover effect of OFDI reverse technology spillover on the growth of green total factor productivity in neighboring areas and explores the spillover of green total factor productivity itself.Through the research of this article, the following conclusions are finally drawn:(1)Green total factor productivity has spatial spillover;(2)OFDI reverse technology spillover has a positive effect on green total factor productivity;(3)OFDI reverse technology spillover has a positive effect on my country Green total factor production has a spatial spillover effect, which can improve the green total factor productivity of neighboring regions through a spatial spillover mechanism. The possible innovations of this article are: Firstly, the perspective of this article is novel. The previous literature mainly focused on the existence of OFDI reverse technology spillovers and its impact on productivity. However, few literatures have conducted in-depth research, and scholars pay less attention to OFDI reverse technology spillovers’ environmental effects. This paper studies the impact of OFDI reverse technology spillovers on green total factor productivity. While verifying whether there are reverse technology spillover effects of foreign direct investment, this paper identifies its environmental effects; The second is that this paper will examine the local effects and spillover effects of ODFI reverse technology spillovers. To overcome the defect of ignoring the effect of inter-provincial interaction in previous studies;third, this article does not use traditional classic econometric models for analysis, such as time series model, ordinary panel model,Var model, etc.,but introduces the spatial Dubin model. It can not only verify the impact of OFDI reverse technology spillover on green total factor productivity, but also examine the spillover effect of OFDI reverse technology spillover.
