With the deepening of BRICS cooperation, the growing economic strength of BRICS countries has also attracted more and more attention from the world. The BRICS countries as a whole have a huge influence, with their economies accounting for 23.58 percent of global GDP and international trade accounting for 16 percent of world trade. They have a strong voice in developing countries and the world at large, the BRICS countries have a lot in common: large populations, vast lands and rich resources. However, there are still huge differences among the BRICS countries. How to integrate the BRICS countries as a whole and make full use of their comparative advantages in trade will enhance the international status of the BRICS countries. In order to enhance the comparative advantage of each country and realize mutual benefit and win-win,it is necessary to improve the trade facilitation level of BRICS countries. Therefore, this paper discusses the impact of BRICS trade facilitation on China’s exports of goods, has more important practical significance. This paper first summarizes the relevant literature, analyzes the current situation of BRICS goods trade and trade facilitation and the existing problems, and measures the trade facilitation level of BRICS countries by using the trade facilitation data from 2009 to 2018,then the paper studies the effect of facilitation on China’s export trade. In the quantitative evaluation of trade facilitation level of BRICS countries, four indicators are selected: Port Efficiency, regulatory environment, customs environment and e-commerce.And then, using gravity model regression, the effects of trade facilitation,GDP,distance between the two countries, total population, tariff level and membership of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation on China’s trade with BRICS countries were analyzed. Finally, based on the results of empirical analysis, explore the factors that promote trade in goods,so as to better serve the building of BRICS.Judging from China’s exports of goods to the other four BRICS countries,we can see that its export trade flows have shown an upward trend year by year, with China’s export trade volume to India rising the most, exports to South Africa are the smallest.Through the empirical analysis of the influencing factors of China’s goods trade,we find that the level of trade facilitation,GDP,total population and Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation all have positive effects on China’s goods trade, the level of trade facilitation has the most positive effect on trade, while the distance between the two countries and the level of tariff restrain trade.Among the selected indicators, port efficiency is the most important one, while customs environment is the least. Finally, according to the conclusion of the study, combined with the current situation of China’s trade development, this paper puts forward the countermeasures to promote China’s trade in goods.
