| In recent years, people have become more health conscious, and their requirement for high-quality health information is increasing day by day.Confronted with the increasingly prominent national health problems, the country has raised the need to meet the health needs of the masses to a national strategic height and proposed a "healthy China" development strategy.Currently, people have been able to collect, use, share, and disseminate the required health information through various mobile terminals.Although various media resources can provide users with massive health information in a short time,it does not mean that users can truly accept and adopt the health information they need. How to help users correctly identify, adopt health information more effectively and promote the dissemination and boost the utilization of health information is a topic worth exploring. In this context, this study, starting from the information dimension, explored whether and how the expression of information itself has an impact on users’ health information adoption behavior, and further explored the role of health beliefs, which provides vital theoretical and practical significance for improving health service levels and public health nutrition. After investigating and selecting research related to this study at home and abroad, based on the Health Belief Model and the Framing Effect Theory, this study introduced the perceived benefits, perceived barriers, perceived severity, and perceived susceptibility in the health belief model as users’ health belief variables, and ultimately constructed a model of the impact of message framing on users’ health information adoption behavior. This study explored whether and how the gain-loss framing and temporal framing,as well as their matching effects, affect user health information adoption behavior through literature induction, experimental methods, questionnaire surveys, and empirical methods, and examined the mediating effects of various variables of health belief in the message framing on user health information adoption behavior. This study used a combination of data analysis tools from SPSS Statistics to validate the measurement model and test the research hypotheses. The main conclusions are as follows: The loss framing significantly affects users’ health information adoption behavior, and the gain framing can more promote users’ health information adoption behavior;Temporal framing significantly affects users’ health information adoption behavior, and short-term framing can more promote users’ health information adoption behavior; The user’s health information adoption behavior is influenced by the interaction between the gain-loss framing and the temporal framing; In the short-term framing,loss-framed information is more likely to promote users’ health information adoption behavior;in the long-term framing,gain-framed information is more likely to promote users’ health information adoption behavior;Perceived benefits and perceived severity mediate the health information adoption behavior of users in the gain-loss framing;Based on the above conclusions, this study proposes corresponding suggestions from two aspects: promoting the design and dissemination of health information, and improving users’ health information literacy and health management level. Finally, the shortcomings of this study are pointed out and future research directions are envisaged. |
