In recent years, with the vigorous development of e-commerce in China, the express delivery industry has rapidly risen. While providing great convenience for people’s lives,it has also brought many problems to social development, such as resource waste caused by express packaging and the harm of packaging waste to the ecological environment. At present, the concept of green development has put forward higher requirements for the express delivery industry. The government is accelerating the improvement of industry regulations, standards, and policy systems.Express delivery companies are also vigorously promoting the greening, reduction, and recyclability of packaging, actively exploring innovative packaging technologies and product applications.Among them,SF Express,as a leading domestic express delivery company in terms of business scale, network coverage, and market share, has made continuous attempts to recycle express packaging and proposed "Feng · BOX" circular packaging boxes.Although the government and express delivery companies have conducted beneficial explorations in the recycling of express packaging, there are still many problems that need to be solved urgently in China’s express packaging recycling system. To clarify the issue of packaging recycling in express delivery, this article selects SF Express as the research object, and comprehensively uses genetic algorithm, particle algorithm, and other methods to explore the reverse logistics path optimization problem of SF Express packaging recycling.Firstly, based on the literature review method, this paper elaborates on the relevant concepts of reverse logistics networks, genetic algorithms, and particle algorithms, providing theoretical support for this article.Secondly, using investigation and research methods, analyze the current situation of SF express packaging recycling reverse logistics, and summarize the problems that SF express has in the recycling process, recycling nodes, and recycling paths of express packaging, mainly including: difficulty in recycling promotion, low efficiency of recycling nodes, and single recycling channels. Then,in response to the issue of SF express packaging recycling,a reverse logistics network path optimization model for packaging recycling is constructed with the goal of minimizing costs, and a standardized packaging recycling process is proposed to promote the rationalization of recycling site selection. Finally, using relevant data of SF express delivery outlets in R City, such as express business volume and operating costs, for example application, genetic algorithm and particle algorithm are used to optimize the packaging and recycling path of SF express delivery in R City, and the effectiveness of the model is verified. The research results are expected to provide theoretical support and practical evidence for the government,e-commerce platforms, and the express delivery industry to make decisions on express packaging recycling. |
