As an important carrier for saving,sorting out and studying of social memory in a region,the local museums display the history and culture of this region,and inherit the humanistic spirit.The permanent exhibitions of Nanning Museum adopts linear narrative,which follows the sequence of historical time order of the story line,and it is by switching and combining such three perspectives as non-focusing type,internal-focusing type and external-focusing type for constructing a vivid narrative plot.In the form of the design from the space design,auxiliary exhibits and other aspects to strengthen the details,highlight the aesthetic feeling,enhance the interactive effect.The permanent exhibition of the Nanning Museum weaves a coherent and lively narrative centered around local culture.It exhibits distinct characteristics including a diverse array of exhibit types,dual parallel narrative clues,concrete presentations of local culture,and the unique construction of the city’s spirit.At the same time,there is room for improvement.By drawing on the exhibition experience of other local museums such as those in Guangzhou and Changsha,the Nanning Museum could optimize its narrative impact through measures such as refining narrative structures,designing visitor routes,and innovating narrative techniques.
