Data Security Service Enterprise Data Asset Value Assessment

The rapid development of the Internet and innovation in network technology have driven profound social changes.Human society has ushered in a digital era.Accelerating the advancement of industrial digitization is crucial for achieving economic modernization.In the context of digitalization,countries and governments also attach great importance to the development of the digital economy,the management of data resources,and the improvement of data quality.In particular,the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19 th CPC Central Committee juxtaposed data,labor,capital,land,and other factors of production to participate in market distribution.With the promulgation of the Data Security Law,data security has been included in the overall national security category for the first time.This has coordinated the development and security issues of data elements in the form of legislation,thereby providing legal protection for the development of the digital economy,the construction of a digital government,and the construction of a digital society.This demonstrates the importance of data.The development of data security service oriented Internet enterprises relies on the Internet and digital technology,and a large amount of data will be formed during the operation process of the enterprise.The rational use of data will bring more benefits to enterprises,further highlighting the important role of data assets,as the characteristics of Internet enterprises are reflected in the light of assets.Quantitative evaluation of data assets can enable enterprises to better measure the value of their own data,and can also better promote the development of data transactions and data markets.It can be seen that the valuation of data assets has broad and far-reaching significance.However,the academic community still has divergent opinions on the evaluation system and method for defining and quantifying data assets in the data security service industry.In this context,this article intends to explore the evaluation of the value of data assets in the data security service industry.The article takes the data assets of Internet data security service enterprises as the research object.Firstly,it reviews the relevant literature and defines the relevant concepts of data security service enterprises and data assets.After analyzing the applicability of traditional evaluation methods to evaluate data assets,it is believed that the market approach and cost approach are not suitable for the evaluation of data assets,while the income approach is more reasonable compared to other methods.Therefore,this article uses the multi-period excess income method to calculate the overall value of the enterprise,and then obtains the enterprise’s off balance sheet portfolio intangible assets through asset cutting.On this basis,the hierarchical structure of the off balance sheet portfolio intangible assets is constructed using the analytic hierarchy process,and then combined with Monte Carlo simulation to calculate the sharing rate of data assets,finally estimating the value of data assets for data security services companies.In order to verify the effectiveness of the method,this article finally conducts an empirical analysis using the data security service enterprise Sangfor as a case.Based on literature research,this article uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods,case analysis,and empirical research on data assets conducted by Sangfor Corporation to verify the feasibility of the constructed evaluation model for evaluating the value of data assets in data security service enterprises.This article combines the professionalism of Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)with the advantages of Monte Carlo big data simulation to effectively separate data assets from enterprise value,solving the problem of data asset divestiture,and has certain theoretical and practical value.It can be seen that this study has enriched the existing theoretical system of data asset evaluation to a certain extent,and hopes to provide some reference for the evaluation of data assets of data security service enterprises.
